Mr.Nelson why did you not go after all the child safety issues as aggressive as you are with this ineligbility ruling ? This is the last time I am going to explain this to you!! It was reported to the AD at The OHSAA tournament! Statements were took!! It was verified the were dead drunk. It was verified that the 15 year old 140 pound starter was forced to drive the drunk Coaches and Matbackers and Teammates including my 112 pound starting Nephew Perez!! No sober adults were available to drive! They still missed the twins state matches!! The Ad and Super assured me and my wife they were to all to be fired! They were Chase Horvaths , the head coaches Buddies and friends! School started! The Drunks were all rehired and no discipline was instilled! I had a duty as a coach to demand some integrity ! My wife and I went to the AD and complained that the drunks were back!! He said NO WAY and called Coach Horvath into his office and said he would not stand for those guys to be back! I flew to LA the next day to drive my Harley back . 4 days into my trip I get a call from Coach Horvath saying I and all the volunteer Olympic coaches, My son a Tuslaw state champ that come in once a month are all fired and banned from the room for good!! He stated no one blows the whistle on me and gets my friends fired! I did everything I could do! Every one knew it Happened! No one denies it! The principle stated to me it breaks his heart but they gave the coach the authority to handle it and were very disappointed on how he handled it! The Administration further claimed because the coaches got drunk at the Hotel and not the Arena they were not officially on duty. They also claimed that the matbackers dad is the one that demanded his 15 year old to drive the Van so it was not the schools responsibility! I did confront the drunks in the hall and they were beyond wasted . Some one could have got killed! So much for the code of conduct we coaches agree to! With me and the "clean "coaches out , the drunks back in , they were already bragging how they were going to make the twins life hell. Before I even got back my twins had quit and were not going to wrestle for Chase Horvath and sit out a year! I did not feel that was fair to them. They had done nothing wrong. I had done nothing wrong! They have no respect for Horvath, They love Bobby Douglas and Doc Bennett from the Olympic training center and Could not stand the thought of wrestling for a young disrespectful coach that cares nothing about the safety of their teammates and them selves or shows any respect to legends in this sport!
So Herbie I was agressive. I got fired for it. I would do it again. Some one has to be responsible. Other people were supportive and still are but scared they would and will be also hurt if they spoke out . NEPOTISM is real! After all look what happen to us. So please you got what you wanted . We are gone . you stuck it to the twins. We will be fine . This will and has strengthened our resolve and made us tighter as a family. The twins are getting over whelming support from people that count. We will return sooner or later! The twins are on fire in the practice room . Coach Stanley and I are very proud how they are handling this and working their teammates hard and getting them ready for state. You can steal state from them but you can not steal their work ethic and long term vision. Best of luck to the Tuslaw kids it is not their fault what their coaches and parents have done. This part has nothing to do with the OHSAA. I have said enough about that and told my attorneys I would be good and keep a lid on that and see where we are going. You guys won . I'm not going to get into rock throwing contest about these accusations, but I can tell you that there isn't one thing in that statement that is true. it's hard to argue with NPD.

Softball? Scheming?? Excuse me but who is obsessed with who here a community the has vandalized a good families property , followed them for months and deliver secret packages??? Name call and attack relentlessly on line with no identification!! LOL. You people are whack and very insecure.

Mr Nelson, serious question here....why even respond? Again as I have said time and time again I am on the outside on this, I know nothing and nobody personally involved here. Your two boys have been hurt enough don't you think? Why keep this fire going? You opened this thread so you had to expect it to go both ways and at some point for people to come at you, that is fine but why even respond anymore? I know it's tough but the more that gets added here the more your two sons hear about. Just my two cents for what it is worth.

I would have blown up ohio chatter with the safety issue kind of like you are doing now with the eligibility issue. Also, it's still hard for me to see how aggressive you have been on the eligibility of your kids to wrestle rather than their safety.

Mr. Nelson, you are rapidly losing what little support it appears you have left here. Do yourself and your kids a favor and either let your lawyer handle things or move on.

I'd agree with Fab1 about this, especially considering how things are getting more and more personal with names, as well as positions, being thrown around. I understand that the main reason you're (Falcons) here is because Yappi's wrestling mods took a "no turning my forum into a circus" stance and closed/deleted/whatever a number of threads concerning this. We're not like that, but I'd at least like there to be a certain degree of adult responsibility to be used.

Since this thread started, there's been a number of new accounts who've only really posted on this thread...many against you. I can understand that. You've brought every bit of "dirty laundry" you've had with Tuslaw into the forefront of this eligibility issue. I don't know that you've ever published any PROOF of any of this other than than your word (on this thread), but you've expended as much energy into trashing that district as you have into justifying that your sons actually were, by the letter of the law, eligible to wrestle for Waynedale. That's the sort of thing that can create hard feelings.

It would be nice if more maturity was shown by people. I really don't see anyone having bad things to say about the twins' desire to compete. I think most people here feel a bit shorted that two talented state-placement caliber athletes won't be on the mats at Columbus due to a technicality. I also think this thread would be better served if all parties kept it to the singular topic of the twins' eligibility and why it was denied/should it have been denied...as opposed to trashing people at former school districts/trashing Mr. Nelson.

We're trying to maintain a civil discussion, but when allegations, peoples' names, etc. are being thrown around like this, it's getting harder and harder to justify keeping this open.

Obviously Something happened. Tell us how it went down.

And after all this a bunch of adults screwed two kids. Enough said. You all would take candy from a baby. I for one would wish for the state to review this and the documents. This is a sad year in ohio wrestling.

Us people have no reason to be whack and insecure....we are simply looking into things and responding appropriately....i am a mother and I would never do the things you have done. The secret Packet type people, who justify Vandalism, tail gating spying , love car wrecks , ask questions but then hate answers, enjoy menacing , are happy good people suffer, don't mind bad behavior, and will never ID themselves , Generally best described as the angry Mob! Very loud, Very opinionated but highly protective of their identity.
2. Concerned citizens types. They are calling in droves. Asking what they can do to help. Are helping. Do care in a fair process. Disdain Mobs. They go by name and face and are proud to ID themselves. They support a fair trial . They believe in safety over sports. Most are dedicated Parents and idealistic coaches who use sports to cultivate character not just win. Almost all the top athlete type families are in this group.

The small angry mob is always more high profile than the masses that are at home in the cities and Homes making things happen and trying to improve their community! The Mob is never getting anything done and trying to even stop people from getting ahead.

1 Tear everybody else's building in town down because you do not want to build.
2. Build the biggest building in town and do your best to ignore the mob and demolition crews.

We started building again this week and started dealing with the demolition crews.. We will build you will see . Watch Waynedale the next 3 years despite the efforts of the "Secret Packet People" We shall build.

I asked quite a few in post #617 and as of yet have not seen a response to even one. BTW - this US against the world mentality is wearing thin.

I am still curious as to what needs to change so these kids CAN wrestle next year. If nothing changes, won't the OHSAA continue to rule them ineligable? Please, as a wrestling fan, I really want to see them back on the Mat ASAP
