Yeah I know that. But why move the company office to the house instead of selling the house is my question. Was it he/they didn't want/couldn't move the wrestling complex or could they not find a buyer or something?

I believe it would require a special type of buyer, he mentioned an indoor pool and I suppose if he's having all these camps, there's a gym too? Not too easy to unload a house like that right now. But I think he said he recently contacted a real estate rep to list it?

Yeah, it would be really difficult to sell a property like that right now.

It's a shame, I know of a few people that did the whole rent an apparently in the desired school district to play a sport and never got busted. It sounds like poor mr Nelson ticked off a few people on his way out of the tuslaw school district and they are out to settle the score.... Or at least that's the side of the story we are hearing. I can't believe the OHSAA would rule two kids ineligible based on info that was supplied to them by Tuslaw folk. I would hope they would do their own due diligence on the matter. I've yet to hear the exact reason for them to be ruled ineligible. .

Time for chatter to close this thread... Enough is enough, you srewed up and found out that your $$$$ isn't as powerful as you thought it was and now you still make idle threats to people you don't even know!!! You are soooo out of your league and just think of the fond memories everyone will have once you do pack up your family and take your dirty laundry to another town!!! The twins I truly do feel sorry for, but hopefully they will grow from this and learn that threats, guns, lying, and trying to bend the rules only for your own benefit are NOT THE WAY TO LIVE YOUR LIFE!!! Hope to see some good news about Zack and Zane in the not too distant future, BEST OF LUCK GUYS AND KEEP BRINGING IT!!!! As for you Dean, GROW UP AND TRY TO BE A ROLE MODEL FOR A CHANGE INSTEAD OF SOMEONE WHO THINKS HE CAN BUY HIS WAY THROUGH LIFE!!! YOU MIGHT FIND OUT PEOPLE ARE MORE WILLING TO ACCEPT YOU THEN, RATHER THAN WHAT YOU ARE DOING NOW!!! LET A DEAD HORSE LYE AND MOVE ON!! TRY AND SAVE WHAT DIGNITY YOU MAY HAVE LEFT!! HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU!!!!!

There is another athlete from this area with a very very very similar story that was re-reversed which makes it a shocker to me. I too would also like to hear exactly why they didn't do the same in this case. I find it hard to believe they would make this decision to begin with when presented '' evidence'' in this fashion. Yet this is twice this year this has happened and it happens to be from wayne county. It makes me think more of this has happened and i don't like how they've handled it. Until I hear more I'm assuming they did none of their own investigating and based a decision off a non credible source which is unfair and very unprofessional. the nelsons/waynedale deserve to have an official statement outlining the reasons for the decision.
I also find the actions of the lady who took the medical leave, claims the AD at waynedale isn't accurate about phone and email conversations, and then had the nerve to '' attend'' the telephone conference late very curious. Just her '' taking off'' mysteriously and then showing up in the middle of this meeting makes me question her credibility/professionalism. There are a lot of things that don't add up IMO from the little that I know.

Does it bother anyone else that less than two weeks away from Sectionals this thread has 20-some pages of "discussion" and any real talk about wrestling on this site struggles to get going?

What's lost in all this are the head coach and Athletic Director of Waynedale. Are these two being reprimanded by the OHSAA or Waynedale school board?
It's obvious they both knew the living situation and did nothing to ensure it was legal (legit).
You have two children suffering because of adults standing by and allowing an illegal living situation.
The schools job is to ensure a new student has proof of residency. It's the AD's and head coaches’ job to ensure it's a legal move-in based on the OHSAA guidelines. It's obvious this didn't happen.
It appears the head coach chose to look the other way rather than fix the situation. The head coach let his personal excitement of the boy’s moving in overtake his common sense and integrity.

based on what Dean has said happened and what the rules for the "exception" lay out...... in order for the twins to get approved to transfer and not have to sit out a year..... an affadavit had to be signed and official documents had to be supplied that documented the official move to the new home (i.e. driver's license, voter's registartion). To quote the exception rule "Instruct the parents to take the actual affidavit of bona fide residence (pages 2 and 3 of the OHSAA form) to a notary public for completion. Note that they must produce driver’s license, voter registration and all other documentation that will be requested by the notary. These documents must display the new address for those parents."
So, with that said..... I would think that the voter registration and not getting the driver's license changed, to reflect the address of their new home in Waynedale, for Mrs. Nelson, would have prevented the approval in the first place? How did the boys get approved to not sit out a year in the first place if Mrs. Nelson didn't get the required documents changed to sign the affadavit?

We stayed in Apple creek again Last night and we will continue even though the twins are ineligible.
Why have all 4 of my kids not been kicked out of Waynedale and All are still attending school . There?
Why are the utilities at apple creek 3 times higher than any renter ever before? Because 6 people have never lived there before.
Why are the utilities way lower at the Tuslaw property than ever in the last 10 years? Because 6 people less live there now.
Why were the Waynedale AD's 14 visits and a affidavit swearing to Visiting our Applecreek home overruled by the word of a secret packet with no name, witnesses and zero affidavits?
Why have charges of fraud not been charged against me?
Why did the OHSAA not want to hear from the twins, my wife, or me but yet receive testimony from a nameless packet with no identification?
Why was zero evidence shared with my attorney's or at the hearing to contradict the Supers at both schools, The AD, The Coach, My landlord, My employerer who has a 3 year lease and pays 3000 a month.
Why have I lost my Tuslaw home for 3 years now as a residence and the twins are still ineligible?
Why did my employer move 18 30 foot trailers of their equipment, Desks, conference table, phone systems, Files and computers to my former home?
Why do I have employee's wondering around in my home every day now?
Why does the owner of that company stay at my Tuslaw compex instead of a hotel like he use to before the lease?
Why do my wife and I both have Apple creek Drivers license if we committed fraud? Arrest us!
Why did I vote for the Waynedale school Levy? Why is the waynedale school Board , Super, Ad, and coach keeping me on staff at Waynedale if I am a fraud?
Why are the twins still practicing and helping their teammates every day if they are not suppose to be there?
Why did I hire a real estate agent 2 weeks before there was any problems to upgrade the Apple Creek Home to a 80 to 150 acre farm if I was going back to Tuslaw?
Why did the Key wittiness and employee of the OHSAA go on medical leave exactly 5 min .after we agreed to the Sham teleconference meeting and show up again only 10 minutes late a week later to a critical hearing that changes my sons HS memories for ever? She should be fired for that alone!
Why did the OHSAA wait till the night before the hearing after our case was already done and mailed to them to send the secret packet they made the ineligibility ruling on after my law firm was closed?
If some of you think this is fair I would not want to be a friend of yours.
We will make something good come from this if it is a least to help some one elses Child down the road..
My twins are struggling with all this , Your prayers and support and any encouragement you can give them is appreciated...They don't understand how the same drunks that are still in the system and never disciplined are still able to do what they like but the victims of the drunks are now punished and banished? Pure corruption. Explain that to your kid....

Alot of what you say has nothing to do with eligibility...neither does this. I see the new family pic you are now using on here is so old, your twins look like their about 12 or so. I realize you have a photography business and probably can't ever get the whole family together to have an updated picture taken. Since you have chosen to put this picture on, lets see the updated picture of the family. Maybe taken at Christmas when all your family was together, right?

Hey Bucky, What did we have for dinner last night ? What size shoes does Dean wear? What color are my eyes? What car are we driving today? How many FB friends do I have? Do us Nelsons have any tattoos? Where am I right now? No you don't have any answers? Wait I thought you knew everything about us? Wow , very disappointing!!! Zane and Zack love us ,tell us often ,and would be proud to grow up like their father! Sorry to disappoint you again! Bitter, read the title of this thread ! CC, you assume to accuse the Nelsons of cheating , the Waynedale superintendent of cheating , the AD of cheating, and the Waynedale head coach of cheating ! Seems like you might have the same issues as Bucky!

I would like to be arrested if there are credible witnesses and evidence that fraud was committed!! OHSAA press charges!! Arrest my Wife and I!! We did nothing wrong and you know it! You are stubbornly covering your butts at the expense of two young men!! Please mind your own Statement of purpose of what your organization stands for!
If Arrested I will get a fair trial! Get to see evidence! Get bail before my trial! A jury of peers not a jury of those that already condemned me! Face my accusers! Be able to question my accusers! Get to actually speak at my trial! Not be limited to a 20 minute phone call as a trial! Hear why i'am convicted if I am.
But no you know and we know our intent was pure. We acted to protect our children to begin with from Criminal behavior of school officials , The Ad should have pressed charges ...he did not. We removed our children from the situation and went thru every circus trick the OHSAA told us to do and it was still not enough in the end A nameless secret packet delivered by unidentified Tuslaw group overruled 43,000 dollars , all the affidavits, all the legal advice, all the reliance on the OHSAA advise, all the leases all the legit documentation and you went with the packet people. A total sham and joke.
Bad semantics and misunderstandings between OHSAA and School executives is what you hang my sons for and that is to your shame and I do not believe the people of Ohio will never look at your corrupt system favorably and change is coming. You still have time to reconsider or adjust your stance. Its never to late to restore integrity to the OHSAA. Please use wisdom and follow truth. Abandon cover ups and butt covering. Iam sure more character assassination is on the way for me....I can handle it ...you will not intimidate me or my family! We will rise above this even if it is not fixed!

I doubt "My wife was told she needed to change it on her birthday....She did"(regarding her driver's license)....... when it spells it out in the bylaws that she had to show proof of residency to receive the exception (twins wouldn't have to sit out a year). If she would've been pulled over for speeding and said "that address is incorrect, I really live it such and such address in in Waynedale", the police officer would have gave her a ticket for not having the correct residence address. When you relocated you update your driver's license. I'm not calling you a fraud or that you committed fraud...... I'm just confused why you paid all your lawyers big time bucks so your kids could legally wrestle at Waynedale..... and then it seems you didn't "allegedly" follow through with what the contract said you had and/or were suppose to do? Seems pretty cut and dry, black and white. Rules are in place for a reason, you break em..... bad things happen. Obviously the OHSAA isn't going to prosecute you for fraudulently filing papers to transfer your kids....... I think the twins being inelligible is prosecution enough. BUT I bet if you start the massive over taking of the OHSAA that you say you are going to do with your lawyers..... things might get a little hairy. Good luck.

You can point the finger at us parents all you want , but facts are we did follow every rule , we were approved by Ohsaa, they changed their minds because of false unidentified info . We are doing our best to fix the misunderstandings. We are not a "normal" family , proud of that ! We don't fit into your cookie cutter , and would never want to ! Zane and Zack don't need or want your pitty! They are thriving , happy young men who will take this and will run to a higher level of success! You can believe the Ohsaa if you like or you can believe our side. It is your choice. We at Team Nelson know the truth and have every confidence that things will work out.

You know everyone on here both sides have a solution for the boys being ineligible and how to correct it. I saw these boys this morning in Apple Creek and they are not the same boys that were wrestling earlier this year some of you seen them locally at Waynedale or Triway. If you could wrap your minds around this and understand THESE ARE HIGH SCHOOL BOYS 16 YEARS OLD. Put your child in these kids shoes and imagine what it's like for them for a minute: Not only have they be suspended from the one thing they love. (Right or Wrong it doesn't matter who's at fault), They hear the crap that is posted on here both from what someone said about their dad to what their dad said about someone. For the Love of God all of you EVERYONE needs to shut up and let these boys deal with what has happened to them. They look defeated and walk without the same cocky little step I saw earlier this year.
Mr. and Mrs. Nelson I do understand that you love your kids and that you want what's best for them. Perhaps if you quit posting on here people will lose interest in this and quit attacking Mr. Nelson. Do it for your boys, please. They have the backing of a good school behind them and a team that also needs to heal from this it was a blow to them too. I hope to see your boys at county along with every other Waynedale fan in their Waynedale Wrestling T-shirts. Your boys never wore a Team Nelson shirt to any match they were wrestling at they wore a Waynedale Wrestling shirt because that's the team they belong to now and in the future. Just because they are ineligible right now does not make them any less a member of the Waynedale Wrestling team in spirit. They should be their to support the guys who are wrestling as they have been and involved with the warm up head patting and the celebration of a win and the tears of a lost. These are things that the OHSAA can't take away from the boys the friends that they have made at Waynedale. And Mr. and Mrs. Nelson you have made friends too ones that have shown you the support and love that you need. Don't let these people on here get to you. They want a rise and feed from others misery. They truly don't get how they are hurting two young men with their malious post nor do they care. They have to be right regardless or who it hurts in this case two 16 year old boys who have shown more class than anyone on this thread.

Actually some politicians and a growing grass roots of tax payers are on this. Stay tuned. Wy wife's info was shared with OHSAA and we DID receive a written approval and we did ask and offer to the OHSAA that we would be happy to conform to any other rule problems ......And they said NO.....Your packet is good...Along with the Super, the AD, and the Principle. Every one remembers that clear as day except the OHSAA employee Debbie Moore that swore she never talked to anyone at Waynedale( until phone records and e-mails were produced by the Waynedale Super and AD) and now swears at the hearing she was late for that she remembers every conversation in detail... What a crock!! Again she should be dismissed!Daisy1519;668253 wrote:I doubt "My wife was told she needed to change it on her birthday....She did"(regarding her driver's license)....... when it spells it out in the bylaws that she had to show proof of residency to receive the exception (twins wouldn't have to sit out a year). I think this post sums it. The thread would die down a bit if the Nelsons (trust me I am not against you) slowed down a bit here. If you don't respond to the others it will quiet down. Let them say what they will. The most important thing is that you love your children and support them and it's clear you do! They don't need to read it on a message board. Remember adults can and should be able to handle this, however the ones getting hurt are two children at the hands of many adults!

I think that the decision by The OHSAA was, at best, mis-guided. At worst, it was down-right spiteful and inconsistant with other situations that are still allowed to continue.
My question is, what has to change in order for the boys to be ELIGABLE NEXT SEASON. Based on the OHAAs decision, their current living situation was not acceptable (ACCORDING TO THEM). So, do they need to sell the Tuslaw home all togather in order to stay at Waynedale??? Do they stay at Waynedale??? Go private? Go back to Tuslaw (very unlikely)?

Wy wife's info was shared with OHSAA and we DID receive a written approval and we did ask and offer to the OHSAA that we would be happy to conform to any other rule problems ......And they said NO.....Your packet is good...Along with the Super, the AD, and the Principle. Every one remembers that clear as day except the OHSAA employee Debbie Moore that swore she never talked to anyone at Waynedale( until phone records and e-mails were produced by the Waynedale Super and AD) and now swears at the hearing she was late for that she remembers every conversation in detail... What a crock!! Again she should be dismissed!
Was this Debbie more sitting on the Board that decided your sons' fate? Changing a driver's license and voter's registration is easy to take care of. Why would you request that exception to that rule? It just seems to muddy the water.
I asked before but don't think I received an answer. Why did they rule your kids inelligible? They had to state a specific violation to the rule. They don't have the power to say, because we "feel" like this rule was violated.
