I think that's what he was saying, it probably didn't help your cause.
Not to say I wouldn't have done it either if I felt I was being wronged, I know I would have as well. The one thing I would have done was got my state rep involved even before my attorneys, I think this would have helped.
Sorry about yuor boys, that does stink for them and your family....It seems to me that OHSAA could have worked this out where they got to wrestle....
I didn't say OHSAA holding your forum posts against you was fair...I just said it was a reality. They aren't robots.

Me nor my sons shall live under the shadow of fear under old corrupt men in Suits!! I did not serve my country to Fear a Private coaches club. They institute extra penalties now to their own furthermost "TOTAL SHAME" We will be wrestling in another state next year if that happens. I am an American and will live in freedom to do as I choose to my Life , Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness and will not bow down to a Corrupt and stupid organization that even eliminated common sense Safety clauses on our children!! ! I will not wear a ankle bracelet like a Felon Just because my son's wrestle!!!!!! I will no longer Tolerate the OHSAA the right to inspect my Bedroom and demand what I had for breakfast!!! Not even the Police have that right. I will not answer as to why I have a picture of my wife on my desk at a hearing about my son's eligibility!! They have gone mad with their power!queencitybuckeye;666284 wrote:You DO understand that it's within their power to extend your kids' suspensions, correct? Posts like these ^^^ are really smart.

Be nice to the corrupt system...There is nothing you can do Mr. Nelson! Except the Tyranny! Live with out your Liberties!! Teach your kids to give up there rights just to wrestle a little more! Give up your Voice to Fear! NO! Not MY FAMILY you do what you must but as for me and mine we will fight!

We are meeting first thing Monday. Our decision may surprise every one. We may go after the bigger picture rather than the immediate 911 of my sons not wrestling. Superintendents having Zero rights is a very big 800 pound Gorilla in the room being ignored here. The life and safety of children being excluded from By Laws is another 1600 pound King Kong in the Cage being totally over looked by most. OHSAA is corrupt and out of control it needs fixed! Child and Safety services would not look highly on a organization that excludes safety and welfare of children as a written policy and encourages unsafe conditions by coaches as a result of that written policy!!livewires;666326 wrote:What suggestions have your lawyers given, as to your next step ?

AS FOR ACTIONS DEAN, WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE... YOU STATED IF THIS WAS NOT OVERTURNED YOU WOULD BE GONE!!! oh yeah, ANOTHER LIE!! START PACKING DUDE.. PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF IT AND IF YOU WERE TRULY A WAYNEDALE SUPPORTER YOU WOULD STICK THIS OUT AND SHOW PEOPLE WHO "YOU" SAY YOU AND YOUR KIDS ARE... When OHSAA eliminated the Superintends rights to agree on a transfer because of a health, safety and welfare situation last year they did not create any board of safety themselves to protect the Student /athletes in a dangerous situations. Therefore if You son or daughter has a safety or welfare issue and they happen to play sports...you are screwed now . The Superintendent can do nothing now! The OHSAA states in Writing THEY WILL DO NOTHING! THEY Further state if the parents remove the child for specifically Safety issues the Child will be punished with a one year penalty even if all rules are followed. YOU CAN'T MAKE SOMETHING THIS STUPID UP!!! The OHSAA needs more MOTHERS on the Board. Its a mostly all He Man Power trip good ole boy club. Mothers!! Get involved and put these men in there place and put Safety BEFORE ALL OTHER CONCERNS!! MY wife was going to give it to them good at the hearing but they did not allow her to speak and safety concerns were banned from the hearing!! Again a total sham!!

I am brand new to this but have read posts and can't be silent any more. While this is a place to chat about topics there is a vast majority of you if have no clue what you're talking about and have not read the forum rules. Attack Dean is silly and childish, it only makes you look insecure about your own self! You clearly have no real knowledge of any part of the twins case , your rantings of where we sleep or what we do to protect our kids or how we raise our kids, or why we left one school district to go to another, or how the ohsaa treated our case, or what we should do now, proves to me be hateful and lacking facts. I don't know where you sleep and there is no way you could know where I sleep! Get over your dislike of Dean, its clear in every word that comes out of your mouth that you don't know him at all! I have watched numerous people attack him as a person and father, and I'm here to tell you the truth. I have known him for 30 plus years, and married to him for 28. Because he stands up for whats right doesn't mean he thinks he's always right. Because he has passion for what he believes in doesn't mean he's an angry man. Quite the opposite of what you say he has the biggest heart and will forgive and forget. You can't say what you would do if you were in his shoes because you aren't man enough to ever walk in his shoes. He has the love and respect of his children and for you to say otherwise is foolish. We as a family will hold together and with love and support from our many friends we will rise above this . You many continue to say whatever you like about Dean and or our family .Just know it does not effect us in any way , we know who we are, where we came from, what our future goals are . It's how you handle your darkest days that makes you the person you are. Zane and Zack have proven that they are amazing young men who love their parents. They will be fine , and better men because of this.

I am not saying this is the answer for everyone but it is an option.
I saw a lot of "wrong" with the system when I was in school in the 80's. The educational and athletic aspect are not truly designed to benefit everyone. You do have choices however.
I home school my own children. Their athletice endeavours are through clubs, ie private swim clubs, wrestling clubs, dance theatres. Your childrens asperations to be great athletes are not limited to participating at a high shcool. Colleges, if this is the choice they are making, look at more than high school results when recruiting athletes. Freestyle wrestling and Greco roman wrestling are great ways to continue wrestling without the "restrictions" set forth by OHSAA. If your children aspire to be great, an Ohio state championship trophy is just that, a trophy. Get them involved in other wrestling styles, travel the country, compete against the nations best.

Deliverers, of the packet by "The 40 Concerned Tuslaw Citizens for the protection of our Athletics" that did not supply a single name or and single affidavit. Only with the OHSAA would a unidentified group deliver a Packet with no affidavits and Two hours later, try, shackle, prosecute and execute the victims and destroy two young mens lives. A real government institution would not have obliged. A real concerned community would be going after the coach and his band of drunk reckless coaches, matbackers and menacers of two great kids that caused this. This I believe will do more harm to your own School than how you intended to harm two innocent boys. 25,000 views , I would say we have a following.buckmaster13;666334 wrote:His lawyers probably don't even want to touch this!! Your Hate ,Frustration and Envy can be felt even on the internet Buckmaster13. No wonder people like you spent your evenings following my wife and children around. I pray for people like you to find happiness some how in your own lives and not be obsessed with other peoples happiness and dreams. Setting goals for yourself , not stomping out the dreams of Happy children.

Its only dysfunctional when you dont follow the rules. My spouse and I made the decision to move our son from one school district to another and to insure that he was eligible to wrestle we did what was required........plain and simple. We had investigations by the OHSAA, we had people from our old school district try to report they did not believe we had moved..........in the end......we had done what was necessary to meet ALL requirements so that our son would not be ineligible. Good grief.........as a parent that followed the rules I have a hard time feeling sympathetic for the man that is spouting off about how much money he has and how much he pays in taxes in Tuslaw. You have the funds....you should have done what needed to be done right if you really wanted your kids to wrestle for Waynedale. Too bad for the boys that dont get to wrestle......by no fault of their own.

Falcon81 - i agree with you 100%
Also, I believe that OHSAA can be fought on this. I think the 6th Circuit has ruled the OHSAA to be a state actor in another case, which I am sure your lawyers are aware of. Therefore, there may very well be valid constitutional issues that should be addressed. The problem is that the necessary time, effort, and expense to see this controversy to the end will in effect prevent your kids from competing in OHSAA events for the remainder of their HS careers. Now, the big picture is that that is a small price to pay for recovery of our constitutional rights. However, your boys may not agree with the big picture.

That would be convenient for the Tuslaw wrestlers in two weight classes and those that would like to stop Waynedale from being a State championship contender next year. Yes that would be very nice for the OHSAA. Very nice to the neighborhood watch group for the concerned athletic group of hooded Tuslaw citizens. Its funny but hooded lynching's with no trail by unidentified mobs using coaches clubs as their venue outside the law is still alive and well in AMERICA!queencitybuckeye;666367 wrote:Rants aside, that may actually be the best thing for all parties involved.
