So is this a done deal? They are absolutely finished for the year? Can you get an injuction/restraining order to delay until the season ends? If the OHSAA finds guilty, shouldnt it be 1 year from friday 1-21-11, the day of the initial suspension? Can we petition?? Lawyers and records show legitimate details??? Im truly sorry, its muddy waters. A clerical error.

The OHSA wont give you hearing before this date no matter what? This sucks Sorry to hear of this. Good luck with what ever you have to do to correct this.

Sorry, yes we are going to fight it. Going for a court date on wendsday. But if we win then the day of 1 year starts with the new penalty 2 days after hearing if we lose again. So they are playing poker we won't fight and risk 34 months. Very terrible tactics to use on kids lives. We will fight . If we lose we have a huge potential law suit against Tuslaw, the coach, and anyone responsible to what led up to the "Move" regarding reckless behavior and negligence. These Blue pride fanatics better pray now their plan fails. This will be terrible for the school and very embarrassing. TRUST ME! I never wanted it to come to that! But man your obsessions just would not cease! We will also fight the decision even if we lose our hearing . This will go all the way, but the twins could still be the innocent by standers. Anyone that knows Zack and Zane know how loving and light hearted they are . In front of the lawyers my sons hugged me and said they love me no matter what happens. I tear up as I write, always smiling even after brutal 3 a days! Today in that law office we had a real family emotional break down and family hug. I needed to take my wife to the hospital afterwords. People just don't get it . Its just a game to them. Got ya!

Your lawyers need to be aggressive and threaten the OHSAA with a lawsuit. We had a kid down here in Columbus go from Africentric to Beechcroft for football through a weird loophole technicality that was bent to his favor, because his lawyer went after the OHSAA hard. Good luck man, that sucks, it's garbage, and I hope it works out for your family in the end.

Listen the first step is get the injunction. No doubt we have a huge law suit if the board rules against us and a great chance to still beat that in a high court along with huge damages. I don't want the money I want my life and my sons life restored! We will move on then and let the Lord deal with the bad Guys. If forced to fight... Fight I will like no other in the History of Ohio High School athletics and I have a huge War chest along with others that want to contribute! Worse case is not expectable. This is a waste of time and inexcusable punishment for two great kids!

1 am and I just got off the phone with the Wooster paper. They talked to OHSAA and used the word fraud and deception on my affidavit with out ever suppling a request or asking for any clarifications once they made their decision. How do you say someone committed fraud before a hearing! How do you personally slander someone and make a statement of fact without even calling them . The FRAUD is the clerk who made a knee jerk reaction without calling the other side first to make sure her info was right!!!!!!! She has committed fraud!!!! She is saying the superintendent, the AD, the Coach and the family never talked to her!!! A complete lie in the panic that she has made a huge error!! She doesn't remember a extensive 4 way on speaker phone conversation regarding the exceptions she now calls fraud! Trash my family's and Waynedale's reputation now ! But this will be completely reversed!!!! The paper assured me it will remember what was said now later if it is proven in court.
I remember when reading about the Norwayne girl basketball player.and reading the posters calling her family liars , frauds, cheaters and told my wife wow! Can you believe people can act so animalistic and mob like when someone is being attacked? Well we are next!!LOL! Our lawyer told us they will use as harsh a names as they can and try to paint as ugly of a picture of your family as they can but in the end you will be vindicated. I believe the story about what happen at Tuslaw now will be coming out in the paper soon. Blue pride will blush red! It will shock you that nothing was done. You will know why we HAD to leave! This story will now make total sense....

Did the paper person record the call or take notes? If so you could probably have a suit for that.

Now here is a question ! Should the OHSAA use terms Like fraud or LIE or deceit before there is a ruling? No trial , no phone call, no meeting, no research, no hearing . A clerk Just gets a packet and on her own 2 hours later ends two boys season then announces the family is a fraud and liars!! Really. My little girl Mia comes home sobbing and says the kids at school said my Dad is a liar! Gut check. Because a clerk for a powerful organization says so at their mountain top! How about same decency! Try this... things are unclear...we have some misunderstanding.. Can you straighten this out....Did you understand this...Do we have everything ...NO!!! with out due process or even a phone call a clerk at the OHSAA ends my sons season on a tip, then calls the family a fraud!!!!! How dare you with out a trail or one phone call to anyone!! Ohsaa rips my family apart and then arrogantly with no due process make us wait 2 weeksin what they did in 2 hours spends 5000 dollars in legal fee's and destroys our reputation. My daughters a wreck. My twins are devastated my wife of 28 years ripped up to the point she can not function over a witch hunt of two great kids just trying to go to school and wrestle!!!!!!!!!!! Shame , shame shame! When the board of the OHSAA see's how this was botched I believe they will act swiftly that it never happens to someone else again. This was not fraud!! Press charges against me !!!! Arrest me!!! At least I will get a trail and be innocent before proven Guilty and not slandered by a Clerk for a Coaches association!! I will get bail and be free to move about till my trial!! My sons have been given nothing!!!

Let me start out by saying I never heard of falcon81 or his boys before this weekend.

Because I'm a father of a wrestler that went through youth, MS, HS, and now college wrestling, I was drawn into this story for obvious reasons and determined to help get these boys back out on the mat by post season.
After reading all of Falcon81's posts on this and another forum, I have to say, I WAS SHOCKED, and figured that the best help I could give is to advise the parents of school-age wrestlers of some of the mistakes that us wrestling parents (myself included) can and have made, and offer some alternate ideas.

**We all secretly think our kids can be the next 4-timer, NCAA champ, Olympic gold medalist, whatever. Embrace the reality that its lottery only odds that they will achieve wrestling greatness, and we should act like it. ---NEVER talk about what your kid WILL achieve in wrestling as though it’s a forgone conclusion for everybody.

**Eligibility is a big deal. OHSAA and the competition hates it when you start playing games with the rules. They've seen all of the scams and tricks, and just because so-and-so got away with it, doesn't mean you will. And, as in wrestling....if you get caught, suck it up, take it like a man, and learn from it.

**We all like it when others notice our kid’s accomplishments, but NEVER run around bragging or make posts about quick pin records, takedown competitions, or any of that other crap- It really pisses people off and it puts a target on your kids back. ---A smart man once said - "a true champion is humble in victory, gracious in defeat" ......this also applies to parents of the true champion.

**Honor your coaches and your program - We all wish our kids could get the Graham room drill partners, or college level coaching, but it can’t happen for most… Don't sweat it… The dirty little secret is that it doesn't matter. There are literally hundreds of Ohio coaches capable of getting "Little Johnny Matburn" to the state podium if he wants it bad enough and he is athletic. Teach honor and respect for the coaches, the program, the RULES of competition, and your opponents. < this + hard work=great achievement in every case, from state champ to mat-fish.

**If your kid starts winning a few matches, resist at all costs the temptation to start up TEAM (insert kids last name here). I know we all were, should have, or could have been a WRESTLING GOD back in the day, but trust me on this, you probably haven’t discovered the secret formula for creating an army of state champs out of mere bed-wetters. If you find you just CANT keep your secret wrestling system from the world, at least wait until your kid graduates. If you don’t, I’ve seen things get real complicated real quick…. Don’t know why, just does.

**If your wrestler is consumed by the drive to achieve greatness, he just might do great things.....A wrestling parent consumed by making his kid achieve wrestling greatness usually ends pissing-off coaches, other parents, and their spouse. Trust me, I've seen it many times, and they are usually the last to figure they have become “that parent”.

** Drive the kid to practice, take them to tournaments, wash their stink filled kneepads, help the coach mop the mats, show up and show your kid you’re proud of their efforts-- but LEAVE THE COACHING TO HIS COACHES. I’m convinced that as parents, we are the LEAST capable people on this Earth to evaluate or coach our own kids.

I don’t know how much, if any of this applies to your situation falcon81. Even if none of it applies, its stuff that people in our great sport can chew on, and possibly get something from. I personally am still learning from our great sport, and I am grateful for all it has taught, and all it has left to teach.

I will not hide Behind a screen name. My name is Jim harris. This is wrong. Its unfair. The Nelson family has been major supporters of the sport of wrestling. They are being treated unfairly. Dean nelson has paid out of his own pocket not only to have! His boys trained but my son and hundreds and I say hundreds of kids from all over the state. The nelson family lives for the sport of wrestling. If the state does not over turn this ridiculous. Ruling it will be a serious black eye on ohio wrestling.

Wolverine , Good post if it apply'd to whats going on here. It does not. I'am a coach. The ones who mis behaved were "OTHER" coaches. Parents should NOT ignore MAJOR safety concerns just to be a good parent and not upset the Coach. Rules should be followed. Waynedale has only ever had one high profile move in in 20 years and they are being crucified along with the twins. The huge recruiting Machines are being left alone even in out right obvious situations over a period of decades! On pushing my kids your story does not apply either. Anyone and I mean anyone who knows the twins KNOW they are the most self driven passionate and also well balanced and extremely loving happy and always smiling kids you will meet. Thanks so much for their great Mom for that, and wife of 28 years and mother of 7. So again on the parenting part your story does not apply. I have met those kind of parents and you are right. We did not get "Caught cheating" Sir and i will fight like a man for my rights, the truth and my sons, Not sit back and have them and myself slandered and broken by a Bully pulpit with out a hearing or trial before its to late. But thanks for the story anyway.

On my youngest daughter Mia, 7 years old. She comes home every day on the bus to our Tuslaw Property. I know, you say I got you. Thats what the State thinks too. When we moved we have a extremely unusual home and for legal reasons totally disclosed and got approved by the state ahead of time under exceptions. Now the Tuslaw people did not know that so they followed us everywhere for the last 3 months thinking they were getting"Something on tape" we were not worried we got it cleared with both Supers and the "clerk" at OHSAA.
Let me explain why we will be vindicated. I Convinced my employer Portraits USA out of Nevada to cancel their lease in the Glass Tower of Belden Village where me and my wife have been working 10 hours a day sometimes(sadly lol) Moved that entire east coast home office to my complex and former main residence in Tuslaw. They rent 3000 sft of office space from me. Moved 18, 30 foot trailers of files, pictures and photo equipment in a additional 3000 sq foot. I rent a additional 2500 square foot room for national Meetings here with over 100 licensee's and associates and speakers 4 times a year.
The property is also a registered tree farm with the State.
And finally the complex and former home is home of TEAM Nelson Athletic Compex! Home of Bobby Douglas camps, Dustin Schlatter David Taylor, Mike Pucillo , Jake Dietchler and monthly Olympic Freestyle Style coach Doc Bennett training seminars. Not a bad group of guys for your sons to be with. Every single day including sundays my sons and kids from all over the State come there after practice to train and get extra work in.
So now you see why the state Clerk is wrong. She says she does not remember any of this info . Doesn't remember any of the 4 way speaker phone calls explaining why we would not be getting rid of the old house but instead converting it to a commercial property. 4 affidavits from a DR, and 3 school officials that were on the calls with the clerk that will testify of the briefing and then approval of the twins eligibility before over 50000 dollars were spent on a legal and approved transfer.
So there you have it I hope that clears it up for some and Iam confident The OHSAA.
Yes we are at the old former home and now full time corporate office and athletic complex more now that ever since the transfer. Its were we go to work and train and coach EVERYDAY now instead of Belden Village! The AD joked with me at Waynedale yesterday that based on where he eats and drinks and spends most of his time it would make the High School his main residence!! So Witch Hunters not every one fits in the same box thats why there is a exception box! To bad it was not referenced before a clerks decision after receiving a Packet from my wonderful always busy Tuslaw neighbors.
In closing ...The only property I have in my name that is residential now is my Waynedale home. It is the only for family only full time property I have . We have been there on every single State mandated drive by The Waynedale Ad visits and he has his affidavits. Please end this witch hunt and just let the kids wrestle.

Yabbi Forums Just liked another thread were some one attacked us but after a great explanation they killed the thread again? They allow the controversial attack and OHSAA to use their bully pulpit but for some reason do not want the facts from the victims??? Especially when the facts are full of details and are compelling and explain the misunderstanding! This is a news story worth following on a wresting forum hence the almost 1400 hits in only 2 days on Chatter. Please let the facts out in the open. The truth will set you free. I have worked to hard to say something in writing on here that can be used later against me. What I tell you I will end up having to back up later . Just tell the truth. Thank you Chatter for having a open forum on a major wrestling news story that effects very strongly, two good Kids. Many people have told me they are going to switch to this forum over this story. The constructive letters and emails I have received and offers of financial support, phone calls and wanting to organize a rally at OHSAA has gave me great comfort in this insane moment in time.

There are a great deal of issues that the OHSAA has, this just one of many. I think a rally on the OHSAA to mainly address this, but while at it might as well clean house, either get rid of the idiots there and get people in there with some common sense, or at least a brain, and address other issues that have been needed to be addressed but nobody their with the balls to tackle the difficult issues.

Wolverine12, I think hit this on its head. My concern is with his anger and constant references to his family and kids. Plus, the spying and other odd things. Please falcon seek mental help. Not being mean but you seem to have some demons within urself. Your issues for some of this seem possibly legit. Take them to court. But, after you lose/win get help big guy. You seem to be a very well respected man who it supported by the community. And it looks like you make a very wonderful home/life for your family. But, half of most of your postings just seem...scary. I will pray for you!

Wolverine you now show your true colors. I'am a veteran, husband of 28 years. A dad of 7. I fought for my country. I have been a wresting coach for 25 years. I built a company from scratch to national prominence from a Trailer in a trailer park. I have Blue color roots and am proud of it. Yes believe it our not my property is a tree farm, yes we moved an entire corporate office to my old property in Tuslaw! Yes the AD did surprise visits and verified it was our residence. The truth and facts Muddy the water!!! But the secret packet to a clerk who never checked the facts and made one phone call before her decision pure and unmuddy waters?. The kids live with my wife and me in Apple Creek what is confusing about that. It is the only property that I have that is 100 percent residential only. The only break in that has been because of a break in at that home in december and a follow up peeping tom peering thru our living room window(probably hoping to get pics of no one home, scaring my wife and children while I was doing a out of state national meeting. I have major security problems because of all this stalking, tailing pics and major vandalism. I hope this nightmare never happens to anyone else. We have been broken into. All the windows in all my outbuilding shot out. Stalked. Followed every where. 2 cars keyed from one end to the other. Giant "d BIRDS 'in paint with my twins names on iton the black top entrance to the complex. Signs stolen. Non stop prank calls! Loss of business. Twenty acres of yard turfed and destroyed at the complex while we were at our apple creek home. MY little boy Stone a 2nd grader jacked by the throat and beat up and called a traitor by a 6th grade Tuslaw youth wrestler on the bus and was getting beat up by kids 4 grades ahead of him for weeks till it was stopped! Muddy WATER!! What kind of DAD are you to lecture me with the nightmare my kids have been thru. Your smug remarks having zero facts.. Lecturing what you no nothing about!
