Something is not adding up here?

Exactly, Tuslaw was the greatest wrestling program Mr. Nelson ever coached at. This came from him in a speech he made at a wrestling banquet. Coaches were great, parents were great. He went on and on how great our program is and now listen to him. I can't keep track of his lies, i am not sure how he is.

Well guys instead of bashing someones character, wait and see after the hearing. A simple thing, I know patience is hard, but humor me this. If the boys are re-instated, than I would think that adds more credibility to what is being said than what you all are giving credit for, and you guys will look awful funny choking on humble pie, but I bet not so quick to voice your apology as you are to cast your stones of insults. Being the father of a wrestler myself, I would go above and beyond and do anything to ensure my son had the most conducuive environment to better his skills in what is already the most demanding sport placed upon kids. I just say this, if you want to insult, make sure you have some direct knowledge of the character or the facts you are insulting about, and think about how willing you are to publicly apologize if you are wrong, and if not, sit back and see how things work out.

I think most everyone has stated they hope for such a reinstatement so that the boys can wrestle.

Any opposition I have read relates to the approach taken to seek out such a reinstatement. No one is suggesting that a father not fight for their son nor are there character assassinations because someone is doing so. Whether the boys are reinstated or not won't change the existence of the critics I have read.

I extend my best wishes to the boys.

Second that. Falcon, hearing is tomorrow? Or next Friday? Will they still rule within 48hrs?

I guess if you believe that illegal behavior is ok and you don't care about safety issues...You are right. If you believe that the Superintendents from Both schools told us each step to take and we relied on their expertise along with visiting a lawyer they recommended to check every detail ....then you are right...my fault. If because people at Tuslaw didn't know these details and then there fore thought I was breaking the rules so they have followed , taped and took pics , trespassed and chased for miles, my family because they thought they had "something " then yes I'am guilty. If I'am guilty for my little 2nd grade boy getting beat up on the bus by Tuslaw 6th grade wresters and called a traitor just because I was protecting my twins from being jacked up by senior Tuslaw wrestlers and had their life threated for "almost " going to CVCA....Then its my fault. If when the school admits they are unable to protect your child even with major documentation and full admissions on file regarding life threatening situations(plural) and I then was forced to remove them from the dangerous situation with detailed advise and reliance on that advise at insane cost and inconvenience.... then ITS ALL MY FAULT...God help those parents that don't have the money to protect their child because the new rule by OHSAA the started this year bans your schools Super from protecting your child. All child Safety protections were done away with By the OHSAA. Very very Scary . Are sports that important that a child's safety is no longer important to protect a coaches rights??? If so I'AM guilty for putting my child's safety and welfare above Sports and I need to get counseling for my perverted out look on parenting as a father of 7 kids. I guess sports at all cost is our public schools is the main priority. Witch hunting and playing I GOTTChA on minuscule details of misunderstanding while a child gets killed or injured... Its hard to imagine it has come to this. My wife because of all this has pulled for now our younger two kids from a school and are looking into home schooling which I have always criticized but know I'am starting to understand why parents are doing this more and more. When the Teachers unions, the tenure system , Coaches associations are more a bout protecting their power than the kids and tax payers you just have to shrug your shoulders and hire a lawyer...and BECOME A ACTIVIST!

I make my living doing public speaking on motivation and personal development topics. I have attracted the biggest names in coaching in the country and they all keep coming back..Crazy?? I served my country on a Submarine,,Crazy, YES. These accusation of fraud for a wresting application is very damaging to my reputation and finical security with no trial or due process. So why am I crazy first time Tuslaw poster. Do you have one single episode or story? With all these attacks not one single accusation? Interesting?? Just received some more great information on the case but I must keep it to myself for now. People are finally listening others are running from this now thats all I can say now. Thank you to those with reason who are checking into the facts thats all i can say for now...THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! Thank You Ohio chatter.

Public record searches on the internetz can be really interesting.

Falcon is a good guy. I've never met him or even chatted with him, but I've read his posts for several yrs since his boy threw a crazy lat drop with 10 seconds left down 3 to beat my good friend's kid at Ourway.
Both those kids were classy in that match and I kind of followed the twins since.
They seem like great kids and their Dad does alot to promote the sport.
The only thing he might do is talk up his boys a little more than others thus opening himself up to alot of abuse.
I remember reading the stuff that went on in MS and was kind of surprised they ended up at Tuslaw.
I cant say I wouldnt do what I could for my boys either.

Outside bitter envy and jealousy which must be accepted and nothing can really stop it Wrestling is a special group of people.Envy goes clear back to Cain and Able . A willingness to commit even murder because one brother hated God showing more favor towards his brother and his sacrifices to God. Poor Able the first victim of simple envy! Envy is as old as mankind. Cain could not handle that Able worked harder and God knew it so Cain eliminated and disqualified his brother instead of just working harder! The wrestling coaches and wrestlers that work 52 weeks a year at the sport are a very special fraternity! We have each others backs no matter what. We understand the extremes that wresters go thru more than any other sport on earth! Mano et Mano! Weight cutting! Alpha testing! Funny ears, Ring worm, shoulder problems, hip replacements, small crowds, broken noses, emotional hunger, 5am work outs, traveling, expensive, 3 confusing styles, rules change every year, Title 9 cut backs, red cards(LOL), Sleeping in the cold so you shiver all night and lose an extra 2 tenths of a pound, put on display stark naked in the scale line, tights, shoe collecting, two days 12 hours on saturday to compete and get a medal, every saturday in the summer in a gym all day somewhere getting qualified for something, and now one Clerk in a office ends it all with one phone call on one uninvestigated tip by a Cain with a envy problem. Only a wrestling family could understand its not just "wresting" its a way of life for my twins that they love with all their heart. Their Life, Their Liberty, Their pursuit of Happiness! Don't tell them its "Just Sports" its not your life. Please keep your calls up flood the switch boards! Its our way of life as wrestlers being messed with!

My biggest question would be....Why were you posting positive messages about Tuslaw's season this year if
such terrible events (drunk driving, etc) occurred at the state tournament? You posted these comments just
days after the alleged events.
One would think you would be hesitant to offer such support to a program that put your children's health and
safety at risk. It just appears you only brought up these events when they served a purpose to get your son's
transferred to the program of your choice.

Best of luck to the boys. I hope this doesn't ruin all their hard work and their potential in the future.

Very good post allow me to answer.
Why would I be positive at a Banquet? Its a Banquet!!! I'am a professional! You don't air dirty laundry at a Kids Banquet! My sons took home every award , people were angry about that, so you find nice things to say...Remember I had to assure I did not step out of line no matter what with the witch hunters. You can always think of something good to say about someone no matter what they have done wrong. Even the Superintendent , Knowing the inside story, said quote. " Dean you are a good soldier that was handled that great" Remember, despite the extreme situation I never lashed out and I took the correct chain of command approach, the high road. I hope that clears up your confusion, me actually being upbeat for the wrestling team at THIER BANQUET despite my personal feeling ! Thats what a professional does!
Also remember at that time I had been given total assurance by the AD that all involved in the criminal and child endangering situations would not be back. So it was fixed.....I thought at that time. Some integrity was restored I thought! I knew the head coach could not be touched with his Mom on the school board and his Tenure so its called putting on your game face. I really did look forward to the next season. The wrestlers on the team liked us. They have great potential and if they did the extra work and I was the only coach that stayed late with my twins to help them . Ask anyone at Waynedale including the head coach who's own son who comes to extra Team Nelson workouts and has a team Nelson T-shirt! The Waynedale coach has not one ego maniac bone in his body! What ever helps his kids he is for!!! How refreshing. Olympic Coach Doc bennett who was just in town from the Olympic training center Loves Louie Stanley and believes there wasn't a better place for twins to be!
The school year started . The bums were rehired against administrations request by head coach. My wife and I demanded a meeting with AD. he was as shocked as we were. He said I AM NOT TAKING THIS ANYMORE! the COACH will take care of this.. Two days later Me and all the olympic Coaches and my Tuslaw state champ son where Banished from the premises for good! The head coach called me on my birthday when he knew I was in the middle of the dessert on a 3000 mile Bike trip. He said he does't tolerate whistle blowers! Super was shocked! We were shocked ! That room was now so dangerous the reckless dads and coaches were now Bullet proof. My sons could not ever return to that room safely. The Super totally agreed.
On a side note I love and always loved and wanted to move out there to Waynedale. I was born in SW Missouri . Lived in Wilmot ohio in HS and some of my best friends lived in Waynedale.
3 weeks ago I hired Kaufman Reality to find a potential 80 to 150 acre farm and wanted to have a cattle farm to retire on sometime soon.. This was before any ineligible notice and thinking we were fine with eligibility. Our experience with Tuslaw and their basic way of thinking and major nepotism issues we had no desire to live here any more.... none. Kaufman came and took pics of the now corporate office to also give me some feeling on how long it would take to market my previous Tuslaw home! Is that what a Family would do if they were trying to pull one over on OHSAA? Clearly hiring a real-estate agent for a even more permeant residence in Waynedale shows our intent was pure and not for skirting rules for wrestling...Again Common sense prevails!
