Darrell Green was the truth in those things!posted by Ironman92
Off topic but I loved these….Cheater start in the finals but he still would’ve won. Oh and Willie Gault was in the record setting 4x1 with Carl Lewis and a 1983 World Champion….Woodson could scoot

Love Daboll lol. Happy for Daniel Jones and him winning would be a good fuck off to the ridiculous hate he got when drafted. If Hurts takes care of the ball….Eagles pressure gets it done.
49ers 27
Cowboys 21
Dak looked great…not convinced he can do it vs 49ers BUT do believe at some point some Coach/team will give Brock trouble and well he hasn’t had trouble yet…Parsons might be the guy to rush him incrementally and enough those tough receptions turn into deflections and tough interceptions. In the end Samuel, McCaffrey, Kittle, Aiyuk….wow
Chiefs 34
Jaguars 16
Trevor has been great and football is funny, but unless the football Gods are big on Bills or Bengals….Chiefs are winning
Bengals 34
Bills 27
I can’t understand the -5.5….the Bills haven’t looked very good in 2 months and the Bengals haven’t lost (though haven’t looked great every time)….Bills struggle with pass rush and if you don’t get pass rush on Joe, you aren’t winning. Allen had been very meh for a bit. Several red zone turnover off his throws AND the Bengals have LIVED off late turnovers to win games (Chiefs/Pats/Ravens)

Talk about putting a chip on the Bengals shoulder, the league announced they've sold 50,000 tickets for the "assumed" Bills/Chiefs AFC Championship Game in Atlanta.
I can see this opening the door for the league to do this (neutral site AFC/NFC Championships) in the near future as I'm sure old Rog is seeing huge dollar signs with the potential (corporate sponsors, etc).

Joe don’t care about that….some Bengals players will but how the hell could you be more motivated to win a football game once you get to this point?

I know logistically they have to start planning it to give people a chance to figure out what they’d do for a game theoretically in nine days. But it sure still is annoying.
I hope Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow have been taking notes. Imagine the atmosphere for this Sunday’s game if Jacksonville upset the Chiefs.

Pretty sure "the mouth that roared", Joe Mixon was chirping about the "disrespect."

The fact that the league announced the number of tickets sold is laying the groundwork for future neutral site conference championships. I get it that they have to plan ahead but do they have to announce the tickets sold?

Just an interesting little side note. Trevor Lawrence has never lost a game on Saturday.

As far as "bulletin board material" goes, I'd be surprised if it plays any role in motivation once the first snap is taken. Like you said, I'm sure players don't have it on their minds all game.

If the Bengals win tomorrow, which bitter old Ravens player comes out of the woodwork to trash talk them next?

I’d say who cares and enjoy my team’s big win and upcoming opportunities. Other fans and dumbass players past and present will always be doing that for whatever reason.

Chiefs challenge that they earned a first down and lost. The expert on NBC said it was short because the spot was correct as the rule is it should be placed where the ball crossed over the sideline. That is the way I thought the rule was. My question is if the rule is the same in college as that is a big reason why OSU lost to Georgia when they ruled on the field they were short on 4th down which was spotted correctly by this pro rule, then overruled on review because he crossed the line to gain even though the ball had crossed over the sideline into OB territory before any body part touched OB.

Well this should be interesting to watch. After burning 3 first rounders on Trey Lance the Niners have already said that Purdy will be their starter going into next season. Definitely deserving. Niners fans already calling Lance a bust.

Fun game…yeah I wish my team was in it but I love a big game with no stress watching.
To me it should’ve been a TD but I also understand why they called it back.
Bills need a TD to start the 3rd and have to stay within a score going to the 4th

Keeping the Bills from scoring on their last drive of the first half was key for Bengals as it guaranteed they would still be ahead after the Bills first drive of the 2nd half.

I do expect Cincy to be repping the AFC in the SB again. No way Mahomes functions at 100% in that game.

CIN looks like the most complete team. They can play some sound defense, and have a future 1st ballot HOFer at QB on his rookie deal.
But never bet against Mahomes. There have been some legendary performances from athletes on a gimpy ankle, and Mahomes is certainly capable of adding to that.
