Tribe hosts Tigers

It's a four game series with Detroit after the Tribe comes off the first series win of the year.  All four games will be starting at 6:10.

This is the longest home stand of the year (10).  (As Hammy said, in reference to a ten game early April home stand in Cleveland, "Thanks, baseball".)

Some looming questions:

Will the Tribe bats come to life?

Will we get a break on the weather?

Will classy grace us with his presence?

Go Tribe.

I was hoping that would lure you in to post!

:-)

(and I agree with both of your points)

I think these things go hand in hand. Yesterday was the coldest temp the Tribe has played in at Progressive Field. There's a reason there were a combined 10 runs scored in that series. Yes, good starting pitching was part of it but even though I think the Tribe has a shitty offense, I don't think it's "six runs in three games against the Royals" shitty.

That ball that Clev served up to Jay that Zimmer face planted on would have been in the Davey Trees in May weather.

Which goes to show you that Gomes hammered that walkoff.

Yep; I was in a dugout box yesterday; several balls would have been homers on most days.  Looks like the weather finally breaks later this week.

Right. Supposed to be 72 degrees on Friday. I know that MLB wants to get these games in but it's BS when they have these guys playing in 30 degree weather. Bauer was even griping about not getting enough time to warm up and the possibilities of injuries.

Saw that interview and Bauer was pissed about not getting enough warm up time (because of the new rule) to start the inning that Duda jacked the homer.

BTW, it's spitting snow in Cleveland, but supposed to stop by game time and just be cloudy and 35 degrees.

Bauer's "dickiness" is starting to grow on me. Dude is completely, blunt/frank and honest. People may not like to hear what he has to say but he's not afraid to say it.

Ha I like Bauer being an ass too. And his training is insane.

Kluber had 10 strikeouts through 5. In the 5th indians got their first hit and followed that up with a Zimmer 2 run jack. 2-0 Indians
