Steelers @ Browns...Round 1

I was just happy that I made it out of there in one piece. I have been to at least 8-10 steeler games in my life and never felt in danger. I guess the increased expectations or the fact that we’re were sitting in the 500 level might have made a difference. Did meet some cool fans tho in my row and before the game 

The ruling is in on Myles. Supposed to be announced today. BSPN reporting racial slur was used according to the OBR.

Here's what's interesting about this. Myles was scheduled for a sit down interview to talk about this on Sunday and the Browns stopped him (maybe the Browns wanted this to wait until the appeal hearing). Suddenly, Rudolph is reading a canned/scripted apology a few days later. Don't really see too many of his black teammates having his back right now. There is supposedly audio out (perhaps Steelers know it and trying to do damage control with the fake Rudolph "apology") there of a racial slur but I don't think it's the N Bomb.

Because nothing says "LEGIT COMPLAINT" quite like an athlete facing being suspended until the commissioner's whims state otherwise deciding a week after the fact to disclose he was the victim of a racial slur despite no one with any connection to what was happening on the field saying anything about that after the game or when the punishments were being handed down!

I think the indefinite suspension is bullshit, but I also don't buy the racial slur.  I jokingly told my friends if he should accuse Mason of dropping a racial slur, so he would have his suspension reduced by 75%.  

I think it will be for the remainder of the season and that's it. "Indefinite" was just to appease because, omg unprecedented on field incident!!

If Garrett is accusing him of this, and it didn't happen, it's a HORRIBLE look for MG's career going forward. The guy's supposedly the "gentle giant" having puppy play dates with fans in parks, writing poetry and dreaming about dinosaurs. He goes from that to meathead QB clubber/blatant liar.

Color me fucking shocked. The Steeler (Pouncey) gets his suspension reduced a game and Garrett's is upheld.

Fuck the NFL. And Ogbonjobi gets his 1 game upheld for a shove that is barely even a penalty. Complete garbage.

Goodell is such a piece of shit.  If someone shot him I wouldn't care.

If he did say it and his teammates heard it, they wouldn’t have been defending him.

My final say on this.

It’s just a fucking bad look all around....especially the NFL side. Both the Browns and Steelers have good and bad looks in this....but the whole NFL part looks bad.

Just a shit ton of grown professional men not having a scratch of composure and making bullshit decisions.

Im truly truly not wanting to watch any of the rematch, of course I will and then the next 2 weeks of sports talk and social media will be all about all the shit of the Browns and Steelers. I’ll be fucking shocked if the rematch is remotely clean. I wanna watch professional athletes entertain me with their unbelievable abilities....any one of us could be a purposeful POS. Get over your fucking selves and play a game and may the best team win in that day. A week ago it was the Browns that were the better team, but half the fuckers that live and die with all their opinions on this probably don’t even know who the hell won the game.

I'm thinking this will go one of two ways....it will either be a WWE Battle Royale or the refs are going to call this so tight that fans will be pissed with all of the flags and it will be a snore fest.

I’m rooting for someone on the Cardinals to enter the stands and fight about 10 people and Goodell to suspend him for for 3 seasons.

A lot of people are saying "why did he wait until his appeal hearing to bring this up?" He didn't. He had an interview scheduled with Jay Glazer on Sunday to discuss this topic and the Browns shut it down and had him cancel it.

Just in general. How was the slur not known immediately? Seems like his teammates and several officials would know right after the brawl cleared. 
 

If he did say it...still doesn’t clear Garrett and if he did say it, give Rudolph double Garrett’s punishment.

you can call me a steeler homer but i 1000% dont believe that he used a racial slur.  Garretts reaction on the field immediately after and in the locker room after dont support that happening.  Total scumbag cop out move if you ask me.
