Do Giants or Jets want Baker? Could Browns be trying to create a bidding war?

I don't think the Giants would go for Mayfield. The Jets, maybe, but I hope they don't consider trading up for him. He's my preferred QB, but only if he falls to 3.

I think the jets really want him. If that’s the case and we can trade down to 3 and then pick Rosen I would be literally be so happy

Fair amount of rumors linking Baker to the Jets.  I have heard next to nothing about the Giants going QB....Barkley, but a little here and there that they may take Darnold should the Browns pass on him.

Lombardi is reporting the browns are trading the 4th pick when they’re on the clock. Who knows lol

Still holding out hope for Rosen lol put a $10 bet on him at 50–1 odds. I’m hoping Dorsey was just trolling everyone lol

So the Mayfield hype train is literally in full force. But some NFL execs seem to still not believe it. 4 more hours. Interesting pick if it is him.

If it's not Mayfield, Dorsey is a master of deception. Everyone in the building in Berea is buzzing about Mayfield and about 90% of the national guys are saying it's him. Mortenson has said, despite all of the posturing, Dorsey has had his mind made up for 6 weeks. Can't wait until this is over.

I'll avoid the last name I heard effect, and say it's Darnold.

So Mayfield & Ward. I would have preferred Chubb but I get it. Not upset about the pick, Mayfield is a ballsy pick, I'm noted as saying I think he's the best QB in the draft bu Darnold could also be great and is younger.

I’m still curious about the whole thing. Supposedly Ward would have gone 5 to Denver. But still, dunno

I'm a fan of Baker/Ward. Got the first QB and CB off the board. Now hopefully we picked the right ones!

I’m a fan of Dorsey not getting cute. If I disagree with the picks that’s one thing, but I’m right on these as much as anyone else...not often. I’ve always wanted them to stop trading unless it was an obvious fleece, and acquire top talent. They did that, now we hope that talent pans out.

Side note, if they can get a Guice and Landry at 33/35? Holy eggplant emoji lol 🍆

Or do we prefer one of the Georgia RBs?

We already passed on 1 Chubb...

In all seriousness, I prefer Guice to N. Chubb now. But really like Landry at 33. Especially since they passed on B. Chubb at 4.

After sleeping on it, even though I was initially (very) upset at the QB pick, I've gotten over it and am all in on the Browns' decision. I also really like their Ward pick (yeah, I bleed Scarlet and Gray, so how could I not), as I trust Dorsey and his minions did their homework and felt a lockdown corner was more of a need than another edge rusher. I feel pretty good about this draft so far, and can't wait to see what tonight brings.
