All along my wants for the first five picks have been QB followed by a combo of pass rush, CB, OT, and RB in any order. I didn’t want a RB in the top 5. We are in great shape to check all of those boxes.

Bowles was asked if the Jets got the QB that they had ranked at #1 and his response (not verbatim) was "well, you know, we had the QB's all ranked pretty closely but I'll leave exactly where we had them ranked in house." If Darnold was their #1 guy, you'd expect a comment like "we're ecstatic to have the #1 QB in this draft fall to us at #3." Normally a team is going to say something like "we got our guy (even if they didn't)."
Now he could backtrack on this later to cover his ass but those were his initial comments. I'd also been hearing that the Jets, along with several other teams, loved Mayfield and he was their top guy. Obviously Herbstreit loved him and Charlie Weis has been in Mayfield's corner since day. Also just saw a comment by Troy Aikman where he didn't think how tall Mayfield was is a big deal.
Bleacher Report's early draft grades (laughed at this part)...
The following people think Baker Mayfield is just another Johnny Manziel:
· Your bartender.
· That guy on Facebook you don't remember friending.
· Your brother-in-law (the one who bought a Nathan Peterman Bills jersey last October).
· Several regional NFL columnists (generally older ones trying too hard to sound edgy).
The following people see no meaningful similarity between Mayfield and Manziel:
· Baker Mayfield.
· Johnny Manziel.
· Anyone involved in the NFL who I have ever spoken to.
· Anyone who watches film carefully.
· Anyone who rejects lazy false equivalencies.
Landry at 33 no matter what.
At 35, give me one of the following:
Jamarco Jones
T. Crosby
Anthony Miller
Josh Jackson
Guice
N Chubb
Will Hernandez
Justin Reid
Mo Hurst
Nathan Sheppard
Landry 33
Guice 35.

Like your list except for Hernandez. He's a stud but his position (guard) is redundant with Zeitler & Bitonio. Unless he can swing to LT, which I haven't heard anything about.
I know we already picked ward, but I'd go Landry then Josh Jackson at 35.

SAF - Malik Hooker - 1st Rd 2017
SAF - Damon Webb - TBD
Holy ballsack, how did they lose 31-0
While I was drinking really heavily throughout that game, I seem to recall it having to do with the offense being really pathetic and the defense being on the field the entire game. But that might just have been what I was yelling in the bar, too, lol.

IDGAF, take the best player and we need depth. Create competition, injuries, etc...

No issue with depth but if they are burning a pick that high, I'd rather see an immediate contributor.
Steve Wyche reporting from Berea saying the Browns really like Nick Chubb and he could be the pick at 33 or 35. Sounds like they, along with several other teams, like him over Guice.
Also will look for O-Line and pass rushers (nothing earth shattering there) but didn't mention names.
Twitter poster asked Nathan Zegura about Landry & Guice to the Browns and his response:
I would not hold your breath on those two....they fell for a reason....seems unlikely to me that @Browns will be the team to stop their fall. https://twitter.com/TroyWilliamGray/status/989910224680177665 …
I would hate to pick Nick Chubb at 33.
Agreed. Would prefer to use that late 2nd on him, if possible. Not sure he'd drop that far. I had seen him going in a mock to the Browns with their third 2nd round pick.

or wait until the 4th round and take one of the 50 RBs that would still be decent there.
Have seen Connor Williams rumors too.

'I don't believe he'll be drafted. I could be wrong about this....' - Broaddus on Maurice Hurst. Says if his heart condition is 'corrected' then his football career is over.
Landry supposedly worsethan first thought also
Austin Corbett, guard out of Nevada. Hmmm lol
We take a guard and not even Hernandez. Wtf.
