Hot Taek: If Lamar Jackson is the 6th QB taken, he will have a better pro carrer than 3 of the QBs picked in front of him.

That's a lot of QB's taken in the first round.

Can someone explain why 92.3 feels the need to make MKC out to be a competent reporter? She's terrible. Repeats news she reads on twitter, literally hours late, and has never had a real source EVER. I just don't get why people can't just say what they think, she sucks and shouldn't be on the beat. It's not even an opinion.

The worst part is that some of these national guys (PFT, for instance) copy her as a 'source" and run with it. Sirius XM was going to have Tony Grossi on yesterday (or today, can't remember) and I'm thinking "enjoy your tall, warm glass of bitterness with that one." 95% of the Cleveland sports talk people are garbage.

Couple of years ago, Bull & Fox had Soloman Wilcots on prior to the preseason and they were talking about the Cleveland media. Wilcots said "Mary K Cabot (pronounced it "Ka-Bow", instead of "Cabb-it", like she was French or some shit) is very reputable." I almost double pissed myself laughing.

I follow several AFCNorth beat writers on Twitter and you guys may have the worst. I won't even follow MKC because she sucks so much, Grossi is an arrogant prick, and Ruiter always came off to me as a whiny douchebag.

I knew I was forgetting someone. I unfollowed him a while ago because he was worse than Grossi.

Been waiting for this to drop. https://twitter.com/SigmundBloom/status/958393826900574209

Made no fucking sense at all that Kirk Cousins would just walk, why would Washington do that? Just lol at BSPN and their shitty reporting/assumptions all season.

Some "top notch" reporting here by MKC:

http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2018/01/browns_offered_chiefs_one_of_t.html Truly amazing writing by our beat writer here
" The Browns offered one of their two second-round picks for Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith, but weren't prepared to sign him to the blockbuster extension that the Redskins did, a league source told cleveland.com."

Consistently mentions our 2 2nd round picks, except we have 3....
How do the editors not catch that?

Cousins rumored to go to Broncos now? So we get no one good, and one of these #1 qbs... great

I mean let’s face it, Cousins coming to Cleveland just never felt like a real possibility lol.

On the recent ep of Tomahawk, Hawkins tells a story about Gordon and Hoyer feuding, and at one point during meetings, Hoyer sat down on a couch next to JG (who was playing Madden), so Josh pauses the game and subs out Hoyer for Johnny. LMAO

Yeah, I said from the beggining it was a pipe dream.  There are teams that can pay him AND give him a chance to compete.

Childish, but also hilarious.

He made the First Team All Pwn with that maneuver.

Didn't matter if the pick did happen to be higher. What I heard that was a deal killer was the fact that the Browns didn't have a defensive player worth a shit to throw in and Washington did (Fuller). Besides Garrett, who would likely be off the table, the only defensive player of value is Ogbah.

At the very least, it's the sort of hilariously petty maneuver that fits into to the current NBA perfectly.
