Jeudy is the perfect candidate for a new scene breakout. Wanted him last offseason, and at deadline. Thrilled with this.

Russell Wilson to the Steelers. What’s his new motto? “Steelers country, let’s Steel.”?

“Steelers country, let’s finish 9-8 and get the 7th seed in the playoffs and lose a close first round game.”

Hey, losing close in the playoffs would be an improvement!

Would love to see it but I don't think the Jets have the draft capital to pull it off.

I'm totally looking forward to all the cheesy shit Russ is going to do this time to "hype" up people while acting like an AI creation that's about three huge steps away from accurately imitating a human. I'd be more enthused if he wasn't going to be doing it as a member of my team, but who knows? Maybe the Russ Factor will cause the necessary implosion that will get actual noteworthy changes made to restore them to being legit good again, instead of just being good enough to (probably) make the playoffs.

Browns first choice at backup QB was Jacoby Brissett, who went to New England. One would assume they'd pivot back to Joe Flacco but the rumors are Jameis Winston? Ugghhh....

Wasn't sure whether to put this in the NFL, politics or WTF thread but, since he plays football...

"citing two anonymous sources".  Did NYT get punked again?

Not only does this sound like a complete joke [at least, I hope so], it makes 0 sense as presuming Rodgers is 100% committed to playing football next year.

My gawd the state of journalism today....Forbes article on it claims "Kennedy told the NYT...".  Apparently, he did not.  Later in the same Forbers article, both Kennedy and Rodgers camps declined comment.

While it's a long shot in every sense of the word, I would LOL so hard if Justin's hope that Rodgers will recover from injury to save the Jets gets ruined by him dumping the team to be Veep.

Will be interesting to see what the Chargers do today. They are $25m over the cap and have to be compliant by 4pm today. Joey Bosa, Khalil Mack, Keenan Allen & Mike Williams, who account for $142m, between the 4 of them, are all potential cuts/trades.

Pipe dream, cap-wise, but Bosa or Mack would look REAL good opposite Myles G.

A Kennedy/Rodgers ticket 100% confirms we're living in a simulation.

But it does create great jokes! So far, my favorite was a tweet that said this shows how smart Rodgers is, because the quickest route to the presidency is to be the VP under a Kennedy.
