Maybe the best and most exciting win of the season…..and Mark Melancon can continue to kiss my ass.

This has been one of the most frustrating seasons in a long while.
Cool having two starters in the OF for the ASG.

It’s all good
A lot if team wins lately
Anyone see the Brian O’Nora show? I’ve not seen anything of the such since Eric Gregg pre K zone. He called 2-4 inches outside around 30 times tonight and it got worse and worse….then ended game with 4 straight missed calls to Winker and final strike of game was 2-3 inches off the plate….between 1st and 2nd place teams
If he didn’t have some sort of sinus vision issue going on and that’s the best he can do…..that should be his last game ever behind the plate.
Ouch
Had the game on for a bit and the main thing I noticed was the announcers were regularly going off on how much he sucked. Maybe not in those words, but that's the impression I got.posted by Ironman92

Umpire Brian O'Nora was responsible for 9 of the top 10 worst calls of the day. All 9 of these pitches below missed the zone by more than 3 inches including 2 in the final at bat of the game.
Only 83.5% of his calls were correct.#Brewers #Reds pic.twitter.com/QS1ELVlDDD— Umpire Auditor (@UmpireAuditor) July 9, 2021
Robots should verify balls and strikes. Fuck the human element. We have the tech now. Use it.
And tonight in the last 3 innings the plate ump was awful and baiting Counsell lol and I guess we are even now

posted by ernest_t_bassNo. Just no. Use the tech to evaluate, and hold umpires/refs more heavily accountable. Suspend him, fine him, take away games... but don't let a robot take over. Just no.
Problem with the "more heavily accountable" idea is the umpire union. They've always been insanely protective of their guys. I mean, the simple fact that Angel and Cowboy Joe are allowed to be on fields says they'll fight tooth and nail to pretend that being a MLB ump equals being better than Jesus and above all criticism.

Negged in retaliation.
Nice win tonight.
