Can’t remember the last time I was this disinterested in a World Series. Boring!

Taking out the starters (elite ones at that) before 5 innings is played doesn’t help the excitement.

Baseball playoffs are the worst. Which is sad because it should be the best.

You have a 162 LONG ASS season where the game is played one way, then the playoffs roll around and it’s a completely different game. Relief pitchers coming in for one batter multiple times a game, starters going 2 2/3 giving up just 1 run, bullpens the primary asset of a championship team. Just stupid.

And don’t even get me started on the 1 game playoff series and even 5 game playoff series. You play 162 games in the regular season, why not have 7 game series every round like the NBA does? Stupid.

I don't mind the 5 game series, but the win or go home game is dumb.

I think a best-of-3, best-of-5, and best-of-7 playoff hierarchy makes sense.

Good points on the regular season/playoffs, S and L.

I have an interest in this series because my youngest daughter lives in the Boston area (Fall River).  At her workplace yesterday there was a drawing for two box seat tickets to last night's game.  The guy that won dropped the tickets on the way to his car and it was raining hard. Another employee found them and took them back inside to dry and call him.

I guess my feelings are less negative towards the Dodgers than Boston, so I'll probably be disappointed as I don't think anyone in the NL has enough to stop Boston and that for the NL to have had a legit shot, the AL would have had to be upsets, nothing but upsets.

And yeah, the constant micromanaging in the playoffs is annoying as hell. Guys that used to go 7+ most nights are going 4-5, all so managers can overthink every situation while announcers babble on about how playoff outs are harder to get in their usual "this moment is larger than life; watch the manager try to juggle seven bullpen arms over six innings!" way.

Definitely want Dodgers. Sox are worse than the Yankees, because they are the same type of team but act like they are the lovable losers still.

I wish they could both lose. Both of these franchises suck.

They've really been the best team in baseball this year.  It would be a shame for them not to finish the deal.

Crazy play to take the lead.

Bellinger too fast and catcher should’ve kept it. Kinsler wasn’t deep enough to be a functional back up

The “numbers” said to leave the lefty in vs Puig.....the feel sure felt like it was time to replace the pitcher.

The numbers produced a 450 ft HR
