Train to Busan -- 9/10 or so. Really good Korean zombie flick that hit all the right notes for me. Claustrophobic, creepy zombies, most everyone dies.
Home Alone is one now
10/10
Pretty Woman 9/10
It's a Wonderful Life

Fun fact: the characters Sheldon and Leonard in Big Bang Theory were named in honor of Sheldon Leonard......"Look at me! I'm makin' angels!"

Interesting. Were Bert and Ernie named after Bert (cop) and Ernie (cab)?
The Irishman: 7/10. I liked it, but it is waaay too long. The last 20+ mins could have been shaved off. The story was pretty good and it rarely dragged.

That’s an old yarn that is not true.

Once, I was watching the horror movie 976-EVIL II and, for a kinda blah film, it had one scene that was utterly glorious. Where a support character gets sucked into a TV mash-up of It's a Wonderful Life and Night of the Living Dead. Those few minutes were AMAZING! And really made me think that any classic movie likely would be far better if zombies were added.

Ok, serious question, if I find this movie and just fast forward to that part, will it all make sense?
Or, do I have to suffer through the whole movie to understand it?
Because that does sound like a pretty good few minutes.

Here's all you need to know: evil dude uses the titular phone hotline to get evil powers to become a low-rent Freddy Krueger, as he's in jail for evil things he's done (well, allegedly, as the trial hasn't happened yet). With powers, his spirit can leave jail to kill people who might be able to keep him there. He also has a creepy-old-dude-lust deal for his hot assistant (one of the leads). She and her best friend are watching movies at one of their places and bickering over whether to watch Night of the Living Dead or It's A Wonderful Life. They decide and main character goes to make popcorn. Friend is watching TV and old dude appears in a commercial and she gets sucked into the mash-up. Which I'm pretty sure you can find on YouTube, as it is the only scene in the movie that really goes above "meh, decent for what it is" levels. Well, other than how the guy playing the old dude LOVED being over-the-top evil.
watched a new hope yesterday with my kid (he's home from school sick) still a great movie, but i hate the remastered version with the choppy cgi. I don't know how bad the puppetry was back in the day (been too long since i've seen it) but i almost feel like that would be better.
6 Underground
6.5/10
It was witty, and the acting was good. The writing and camera work all felt a little frenetic, but that's Michael Bay for you.
Star wars.
8/8.
Legit.
Rambo: Last Blood
6/10 - but, you know, it's Rambo no one is expecting any awards. Some people really like it, and the movie and story is certainly decent. But it's a short movie (@ 80 minutes) that FEELS too short.
Has a "finish him" moment at the end that rivals the speech at the end of Rocky IV for being ridiculously horrible.

Did he say “yous” ...?
Rise of Skywalker: 6/10.
Way too much going on that makes no sense and it feels like they just threw away everything that was great about Last Jedi.

Ha! There's a Lifehacker or Gizmodo article I saw with almost that exact headline. I didn't read it because I don't want any spoilers.

Yeah, there were quite a few times I just went, "oh come on!"
