if popeyes customer service was 50% as good as McDonalds, it'd run chick fil a and KFC out of business. I've never had a pleasant experience at popeyes, but i keep going back because the chicken is 10000000% better than anything else.

I wish this was surprising.  Frankly, I don't know why people go so frequently.  I went once when we first moved in, and the place was filthy, while there were plenty of people who could have helped clean just standing around.

this! give me Chick-fil-A every day, all day...and Golic, Sr saying that Popeye's is "superior to any chicken sandwich out there" is just plain moronic--but hey, consider the source

Yeah I'm definitely gonna keep going, but the service is always trash for sure. Honestly the best Popeye's are the ones attached to gas stations and rest stops, lol. For whatever reason, they actually do their jobs.

Eh, it might not be 10000000 (or whatever) % better, but it's definitely better tasting.

Nah it's definitely better than Chick-fil-A. I find them to be overrated in general. I do want to try the mac and cheese, tho.

Having had the mac n cheese, it's okay.  Not as good as homemade, but it's better than anything you'll buy at a cheap buffet restaurant.

I do really like their chicken.  It's not as good as Popeye's, but it's good.

Still, their service has consistently been the best of any fast food restaurant I've ever been to, and it's not even remotely close.

I saw a similar story last week.

The one near me certainly isn't clean.

Then again, the best Mexican restaurant I know would probably fail a health inspection.  I'll still eat there.

Wendy's service is usually TOO good, like at least give me time to get my wallet before you're handing my bag of food to me.

As for best chicken, it's still Chic-Fil-a for me by a longshot.  I like Popeye's a lot better than KFC (which is pure garbage), but I'd put Zaxby's up there after Chic-Fil-a.  Those two seem to have very clean and lean chicken, and don't overfry (I've had bits of Popeye's that seemed to be all batter and no chicken).

Is there any love for Cane’s on here?

A lot of guys from my church love it.  I've never had it. I'm told the menu is pretty narrow, but also that what they do, they do well.

Canes is great. But not sure it’s the chicken or the sauce...

The sauce is awesome. 

That is why Popeyes tastes like a black woman with no elbows made your sandwich and chick fil a tastes like a woman named Karen made it. I do like both tho. I don’t even live within 15 miles of a Popeyes
