Played at Jefferson Country Club in Blacklick yesterday.  Very nice course with fast greens and lots of undulation.  Lots of water and bunkers to round out the course.  I really enjoyed it.

Well, it's obviously not going to have an I-75 address...

Forest Creason (BGSU Course) isn't terrible.

Stone Ridge is very nice.

Riverby Hills isn't bad

Forrest Creason is horrible because it’s not open any longer. Stone Ridge has some killer deals for how nice of a public course it is ($25 after 3 or $20 after 5) for as much as you can play and that essentially killed off Forrest Creason.

I will say Red Hawk is probably the hardest course in NW Ohio you can play without a membership, and seems to be pretty much a place for Marathon execs to build giant houses. It’s not on 75 but west of the city by about three miles.

Pretty wide open course that is kind of a links setup, but it’s an extremely challenging modern course. Plays 6750 from the Blue and 7100 at the tips with 10-11-12 at the Blue tees going 433-450-412 just to give you an idea length wise. Love playing there although it’s a bit of a drive from Perrysburg but it’s a bear to play

Was really impressed with RHR. Would love to get back when it isn’t a shitty weather day. Loved the layout. And it was in great shape for all the heat we’ve had lately.

You guys get a good deal? I've seen it as low as $15 on golfnow

No. Well, I guess we did, it was listed $55 but they charged us $45. They didn’t have any deals on Friday. It’s well worth $45 though, so I didn’t mind.

Raining all day weekend in Chicago. No golf for me. Sad.

Finally made it out this morning. It’s not a difficult course just 3200 yards for the back 9. Only hit 3 of 9 greens in regulation but was always right beside it. Every tee shot was ok distance with a clear 2nd shot.

6 pars, 3 bogeys

Missed a tough 5 footer for a 38 on final hole. Missed a 6 footer earlier in round for a bogey. Made a nice 7 footer and a 12 footer for par.

I have embarrassing iron distance but I know what club I need to use and how to hit it.

Rode in cart in about 65 minutes

I played 18 the other day in 1:56 minutes.  Shot a 80 on aerated greens.

Put a super stroke grip on yesterday.  Going to go putt today.

Played 6 strokes better than last week in our league. I'm not mad.

Had the opportunity to play the Moraine Country Club yesterday. It was a wonderful place but I felt a little ill at ease at such an upper crust place. First time I’ve ever played with a caddy (one guy for the four of us). He didn’t give much advice but he was a godsend for finding balls on an unfamiliar course.

Forecaddies are the best.

I think I found a ball on the 18th hole last night that I lost two weeks ago.

Let it go!  Once they get a taste of freedom it's hard to get them back!

Expanding on this a little more. I hit my irons much better than I did last week, I only really had one or two mishits all night. I did put myself in a very bad position on one hole, downhill of the green, completely blocked by trees. That hole killed me, next time that happens I need to forget attempting to punch it through to the green and just take my best clear shot back to the fairway and regroup.

that means you were scrumming around in the rough looking for a bad shot you hit?

No, I was fine on 18 but one of the guys in our foursome hit his into the woods. I went in to help him, and also find any other stray balls I could. Walked out with 4.
