Played 9 holes at my old, and brother-in-law's current, country club this evening. My putting let me down today, I was about 4 putts higher than my average on 9 holes. Shot a 46, would've been really happy with a 42.

Anyone play single length irons? I've recently learned of their existence and I'm intrigued by the concept. I don't know that I'm ready to invest in new irons until after next year, but that gives me plenty of time to research.

Is that the type Bryson uses?

I think so, I saw his picture plastered all over the Cobra website when I was looking at them.

Seems like a cool concept, having a single swing plane for all of your irons could be very good for muscle memory. I've been reading up a bit on a thread at golfwrx and a lot of people who have made the switch swear by them.

I'm finding I have a severe lack of friends who golf. Trying to find someone to golf on Saturday morning has been a chore.

I’d be all about that, minus the 2 hour drive haha

Dude, just wake up and be on the road by 6am on a Saturday. Easy.

Found a good deal on Golf Now, I'm playing Beckett Ridge at 8:08 with whoever else ends up signing up for the same tee time. Given that it's very early on a Saturday, I'm guessing it will be old guys.

It's definitely not that. Part of the problem is I only really know a handful of people locally that golf.

At this point I'm hoping no one else joins my tee time and I can fly through the course. Last time I played 18 holes early on my own I was done is just over 2 hours.

Shot a 92. Started on the 10th hole, played the front 9 six shots better than the back. I had 20 putts on the back, only 13 on the front, including a chip in on hole 1. I'm guessing the greens drying off had a lot to do with it.

I feel ya man. I’m moving to Dublin, Ohio in May and have no clue who I’ll be golfing with next year. Anyone know how long drive times are from there to Marysville?
