Shots fired at Trump rally

I watched part of the hearing while waiting in the airport. 

First time ever I agreed with AOC, which was weird.

Yeah, AOC wasn't her usual self, that's a net positive for her.

What is stupid are these politicians making speeches that go off topic. This hearing isn't about gun safety or banning guns. How can they expect to get any answers (they're not) if you go off on some diatribe. Whatever, this woman is giving very very few answers to anything.

And this is when the Biden administration needs to fire Cheatle and get it over with. It's not going to change anything with its legacy at this point.

I stopped watching it because Congress isn't going to get any new information from this woman. Both Republicans and Democrats have put her on blast and have said she needs to resign or be fired right now.

She has the information, she just won't say it because it is incredibly damning.  

She and EVERYONE in the SS must be fired.  Every, single, one.

Trump should have NEVER been allowed to take the stage.  

It is such a colossal failure that it certainly looks like more than that.

Can't be done like that. There needs to be time on learning the things like proper protocol and procedures. I don't think you can just pull any cop or ex military off the street and tell them go protect the president. And the SS is still understaffed.

I do think the entire thing needs to be redesigned though. Better training, for starters. Everybody involved with direct contact details needs to be as tall, if not taller, than the president should be one of the priorities of understanding. What we saw with the Trump shooting was a hard conviction of the DEI experiment. No way should people shorter than the person they are supposed to protect be the ones involved in direct contact detail.

I understand your sentiment, though.

 That needed to happen.

I saw some footage this morning and it was showing Biden getting into his car and he was having a hard time and needed help. Also, its hard to say in a definite manner, but it looked like one of his security detail had to put his legs into the car and situate them for him. 

If so he’s really went downhill quickly. He was out riding his bike this time last summer.

Yeah honestly, that was pretty surprising.  Felt good seeing the system unite over something so serious, it's a shame that can't happen more often.

Ok, so I can't help but no longer think that this was just common incompetence.

With the latest "most important election EVAR!" coming up in a few months, there's no way the Ds can sit back and let the Rs turn them into punching bags over their presidential candidate nearly getting got because of shitty protection during the term of a D president. The only thing they could really do was bury her and portray it as departmental incompetence.

Well, too late now! The footage shown today during the Pa. state police Colonel blew that all to hell. It's just too damming. Occam's Razor can't be the go-to by any rational person.
