If so he’s really went downhill quickly. He was out riding his bike this time last summer.

Well, crashing it anyway...

Yeah honestly, that was pretty surprising.  Felt good seeing the system unite over something so serious, it's a shame that can't happen more often.

Agreed, I even gained a little respect for AOC yesterday.

Well, too late now! The footage shown today during the Pa. state police Colonel blew that all to hell. It's just too damming. Occam's Razor can't be the go-to by any rational person.

The video didn't work above for me, can someone link said video?

Oh, I took a screenie while watching the footage during today's hearing. It's not the vid itself. I will see if I can find a shortened version (instead of a vid of the whole hearing).

Edit to add:

So I didn't see a specific clip, but this is the full vid. Skip to 1hr53min

Thanks, the more information that comes out just keeps leaving two options, absolute gross negligence that people need to go to jail for, or an inside job somehow that people need to go to jail for.

Her question about the distance of the building vs range on an AR, which is widely owned, was fantastic.

That is actually a good question. They still debate about who killed Kennedy and MLK. However with technology, cameras, cell towers, cell records, ring cameras, Tesla car cameras etc. we will have a lot more in

About?

The Secret Service failure, probably in some redacted format to keep secret methods and names. It is a process they are going through no matter how loud Senator Hawley yells.

The motive of the shooter, unlikely.

But that won't stop conspiracy folks.

No, the SS standing about not even making an attempt to prevent the shooting is the reason there are conspiracy theories. This pic, one of many pics and vids, is proof that somebody with a slingshot could have taken the shooter out.

This entire assassination attempt has now been effectively scrubbed by the powers that be and has vanished from radar in less than 3 weeks.  We are in the twilight zone.

The media is always going to steer things toward their liberal ways. Trump came up with this idea about "no tax on tips" for the service worker industry a while ago and now Harris is touting that as part of her platform. Guess who I bet the liberal media is going to give credit for coming up with the idea down the road (not now as they've called her on it)?

Liberal media (and liberals) are just the f#cking worst.

Well, the media are Dem stenographers who have the ability to memory hole facts.

And now, a year later, she is taking Trump's policy proposal as her own.

This will be brushed under the rug and forgotten I'm sure. That's how the Dems/liberal media always do it.

Maybe because they didn’t put the screws to service industry workers? I suggest people actually read the laws not headlines

It's not up to me to explain what crackdown means to YOU, if you don't already have a decent understanding of the word. But I will go over some of the negative impacts that forced govt compliance via the IRS has on the working poor. Keep in mind that this was coming right off the heels of Covid.

- it would force the smaller restaurant owners (mom and pop) to invest in POS systems which most wouldn't be able to afford, even with small business loans; otherwise they would already have them - especially if they were fortunate to survive the govt mandated lockdowns. POS are expensive to buy in the first place, not to mention the time and resources these mom/pop places would have to invest to be properly trained to use them, along with their employees. It's the incidentals like these that politicians are completely unaware of or, worse yet, indifferent that really negatively impacts people in the worst way.

Other jobs, like gig work (think drivers) have already been disputed in places like California and the negative impacts laws like this are already widely known. Buy since you will pretend you know nothing about it, I will explain some of the issues that are known already.

- it forces people to give up their individual contracting so that govt can call them employees of a business. This stops them from working when they want to and how much they want to as private contractors. Meaning that businesses can limit their working hours to only 40hrs a week to keep them from having to pay any overtime.

So in the end, govt wants tens of thousands of new IRS agents to not only social engineer where it has no business but also placing financial hardships on the working poor.

So was it mandatory or voluntary?
