12 team would be a lot of fun games
So will OSU-Michigan now meet in the semi's, or was that likely the plan all along?
Georgia, Michigan, TCU, OSU.

I hate seeing 3 loss teams make the playoffs.

Will be a lot of theories. To me it’s the obvious choice (as long as Purdue doesn’t make Michigan look terrible)
Georgia vs TCU and that’s not a big draw….but OSU/Mich is and it guarantees a big draw National Chsmpionship. TCU could maybe upset the other 2. Had Bama found a way to win the tight game vs Tenn or LSU they’d have the Big 4

I’m simply looking at the thought of several more really good games to watch….as is the committee
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. Ohio St
4. TCU
All get byes
#5 Bama vs #12 Kansas St
#6 Tennessee vs #11 Washington
#7 Penn St vs #10 USC
#8 Clemson vs #9 Utah
Then
Georgia vs Utah
Michigan vs USC
Ohio St vs Tennessee
TCU vs Bama
THEN….
You get the big 4 and the great Nati
Basically you get the 4 extra games that are the quarter finals and I’d love watching those in addition
Who are the 4 best teams…right now (resume aside)
Georgia
Michigan
Utah? Kansas St? Florida St? Washington? Tulane lol?
Man Tulane is a fun team to watch.
UCF is solid and the AAC is pushing the worst Power 5 a bit…not the depth….but I think they are a legitimate top 15 team.
USC vs Tulane in Cotton Bowl….that’ll be fun
Find something in life that excites you as much as a deep incomplete pass excites Gus Johnson.

Dude has made a shit ton of money with his infamous “excitement builder emphasis”….,and a lot of guys trying to copy
posted by Ironman92Makes sense. And presuming they are #2 and #3, won't even require any shenanigans to defend.Georgia vs TCU and that’s not a big draw….but OSU/Mich is and it guarantees a big draw National Chsmpionship. The committee should be happy they aren’t in charge of fairly ranking teams 6-13….or at least that no one cares nearly as much about that
Current Tennessee without Hooker, Penn St, USC, Utah, Kansas St, Clemson, Washington…..not much separation there
They could go Georgia, Michigan, OSU, Alabama and watch everyone lose their shit.

It would invalidate everything. No world where Bama should be close.

OSU and TCU would not get byes in the new 12 team format according to what I've read. 4 highest ranked conference champs.
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. TCU
4. Ohio State
Is the official seeding.
I seriously doubt OSU beats Georgia, but MAN I've been hoping to see a UM-OSU national championship game for years.
Could you imagine how crazy that would be?

Big as it could get.
Duke/UNC in basketball might rival it a bit
But it ain’t happening….I don’t think but the 5 stars who are always favored now get to be the disrespected underdog with no chance
Cool
Louisville and Cincinnati will be on the same sideline next weekend lol pic.twitter.com/dlnz6ki3kS
