REC-TEC Bull RT-700 Wood Pellet Smoker

i've had mine (680) coming up on 5 years. love that thing i believe the 700 comes standard with the ceramic ignition probe, that thing was a godsend. i burnt through like 6 of the metal ones in the first 3 years. they replaced them for free, but the shipping times waiting for them were the pits.

building from the ground up? or a remodel? our basement was completely unfinished. the shower base and walls and door were like $700, the toilet was $200, and the vanity (which we haven't bought yet) is looking like it'll be about $400. i'm not mad about all that, what's going to be the big spend is the re-routing of the plumbing to accommodate this bathroom. All in all, we are estimating $25,000 to finish the whole basement with a bathroom, game room, bar and kitchenette.

We're going to be buying new basement flooring in the next few days and we're very excited. Getting old is weird.

My wife used to buy purses.

Now she buys diaper bags like she used to buy purses.

I think we have five?

I feel you. I'm doing all the house buying things. Currently getting hyped over a Dyson stick vacuum. 😆

Got a new mattress yesterday.

Nothing insane.  Just a Serta Sleep2Go 12".  Our last mattress was the one we got as an early wedding present, so we've had it for almost 12 years.  It was definitely due.

As an aside, it felt great sleeping on it.  Let's just hope it holds up, and if it doesn't, that they're not assholes about honoring the warranty.

Just ordered a 4 post car lift. The installer can’t install til October 8th though. Pretty excited since I try to do all the car work I can that I’m comfortable with and now I can put my convertible up on it for the winter and keep the snowblower and whatever else under it to use

Didn’t you say in the car dealership thread your Tacoma was already fully loaded?
