What's on your Christmas list this year? What are you getting for others?

My list:

A burgundy Wool&Prince button down.
A NRS 110L dry bag. I currently have a 70L and a 35L. I can replace the 35L with the 110L and lug in a lot more gear on my Boundary Waters trips.
A new ENO rain fly for my hammock.
Adidas golf pants.
A dozen Callaway Chrome Soft Stars and Stripes golf balls.
Alignment sticks for practicing at the range.
Birdicorn divot tool.

Not sure what we're getting my in-laws, but we're thinking of doing a family photo session for my mom. Outside of wedding pics, we haven't had family pictures taken since I was a kid. We did it with the in-laws last year and it was a nice gift.

Nothing on my list but the grandkids got hooked up and my girlfriend will be getting a Baker Mayfield jersey along with other clothes and probably a $200-300 gift certificate for a new tattoo.

Won’t be buying anything for each other. I’m sure the 10 month old will get a bunch of stuff. Only thing I really wanna do is finish my AR, get a video doorbell, and finish up some patio furniture/ find a fire pit.

What do you have left to do on your AR?

I keep busting the pin for the bolt catch assembly. And then a piece for the rear takedown piece doesn’t make sense on my lower. There is supposed to be a hole but something is in there? Ha, I need to take it to palmetto armory and have them help me. Otherwise I have the upper. Just need to finish the lower, attach upper, and figure out what kind of optic I want (at least get a rear iron sight).

i forgot my wife and I also do an advent calendar (I proposed using it) so I need to buy 12 little presents for that too.

I'm hoping for a bunch of super expensive eye creams, skin care products and makeup. I've also got a few random things like a wall calendar, whisk, can opener, and a set of gel pens on my list.

We bought our stepdad a Little Giant Ladder, but I'm stuck when it comes to my mom, dad and husband.

My good friend at school sells Rodan and Fields and her boss is Todd Frazier’s wife. Those women buy that stuff and holy shit are those products expensive.

Being a woman is a racket and a scam and a sham and a million other very similar words. Skincare, makeup, bras, tampons, birth control, etc. etc. etc. etc. Nevermind the shit that's free...like bleeding out once a month for 40+ years and pushing a baby out of your V. #blessed

Do yourself/wife a favor and go to Lowe’s/Home Depot and get the sticks for driveways or whatever they use to mark where curbs are for plowing. They will be WAY cheaper than buying alignments sticks. And they are basically the same thing.

I've asked for a new set of hunting clothes. something less bulky and more water/wind resistant than what i currently have. I swear i spend 30 minutes putting on 15 pounds of clothes to go hunting every time i head out and that is a pain in the ass. aside from that, just my typical 2-3 pairs of jeans (i did ask for a pair of flannel lined jeans), a couple shirts for work, i did ask for a duluth firehose jacket. i typically get about $75 worth of cabelas gift cards so i'll use those to buy the litle things i've been eyeballing (new knife, treestand, mineral supplements for the farm, etc.)

Dude. Nice tip.

I mean you can get them on discount at places for like $10 a pair. But why not spend less than half that?

I’m learning that pushing a baby out is not going to be free for my wife, though usually (hopefully) a man is helping pay for that. And insurance. Thank God for amazing insurance policy.

Yeah I mean it's not usually free these days. But it could be if you're into a natural home birth like the olden days.

I want my kids to be happy and delighted with the gifts that are given to them, and for $0 to be spent on me.  That will make for a happy christmas morning.

How many of you don't exchange gifts with your partners? I couldn't tell you the last time my wife or I gave each other a gift.

I usually get my wife something.  But I always ask that she doesn't get me anything.  She gets me something from the kids.

We haven't in years--Christmas gifts are for our kids and grandkids....I know it sounds cliche', but we truly do enjoy the giving part--this is our present to each other.

I have had to work the last few Christmases —  this year travel home on Christmas Eve — so we are treating this as more Thanksgiving than Christmas. My parents and my wife’s dad and wife are coming over and sister-in-law is home from New Zealand. We will do maybe 1 gift to SIL, and parents and just cards for each other. Probably buy a bunch of stuff for our nieces.

Not only that, but you can expect random bills to be coming for months after. My son was born nearly three months ago. We got a bill from Cincinnati Children's for $350 earlier this week.
