Lol that was his point. There are standards (laws)  that exist. You think the standards are wrong and your version is what is correct. Now who's being obtuse?

Have you not read what I wrote? My opinion differs from what society currently deems appropriate. Me stating society standards is not the same as me stating my opinion on the subject.

How do you now what "society deems appropriate"?

I can't think of a single friend, family member, or coworker that would give two shits if they saw a breast in public while breastfeeding. Like myself, they simply don't give a shit.

I can’t really think of anyone I know that cares if they see a boob in public...but I know a lot of people who care if someone is bothered by seeing a boob while breastfeeding.

No....like I said earlier. This all took place at a city pool and once word got out they asked her to cover up....over 400 posts blowing up the nerve of the 19 year old lifeguard who asked her to. It went over 1,000 posts total and pool manager and mayor had to make it ok with the woman and lifeguards had a session on sensitivity training and breastfeeding rules. Lol

So I thought I’d throw the thought onto here lol

Just to stir the pot, if an owner of a private property (i.e. a private business) told someone breastfeeding on their property that they have to stop or they must leave, would you have an issue with it?

not breastfeeding, but thought I'd add a little levity to the thread (and no, this practice hasn't been 'normalized'...yet)

No, it is the business owner's prerogative.

However, they must be willing to accept the potential consequences of that decision....people may not patronize the business due to that decision.

Yeah, I’d recommend letting it go.

This.

And frankly, anyone who gets their naughty bits in a twist over a baby having lunch in public and expects others to cater to their delicate sensibilities is about as big a snowflake as there is.

Saw a woman whip it out in the checkout line at Walmart today, the look on the male clerks face was priceless. I see it as a bit weird but each to their own, could have waited a few minutes to get to the car.

She was actually not what you would think of as stereotypical Walmart clientele, she sure wasn't ugly.
