Ad campaigns that worked on you?

Just curious if any notable ad campaigns, be it through social media, tv, or whatever other medium, got you to try a product.

I can think of two recent occasions. Just last week, I saw an ad on instagram from freshcleantees.com. I was in need of some new v-neck t-shirts so I placed an order. So far, so good. The shirts were very nice quality.

The other was a video ad on facebook from a company called Dropps. We decided to give them a chance due to the great video, and it's worked out well. I highly recommend them. We'll be adding their dishwasher drops to our next order.

2undr got me a year or so ago. Now they are the only underwear I buy. I remember seeing ads on Insta for them all the time and finally took a look.

Food commercials get me. Often.

I'll say that I don't see many television ads as we don't have cable and rarely watch antenna television. I'm sure food ads would get me more often if we watched more television ads.

I ordered 2 MyPillows a while ago.  They were ridiculously overstuffed, and even after removing half (so disgusting - the foam colored the case yellow) they just weren't as good as synthetic down.  Far from terrible, but I'm very particular about pillows and struggle to find good ones.

Bought one of those power scrubbing brushes for the shower I saw on tv.  It actually works pretty well, but it's not magically powerful - still have to clean regularly.

I'm sure there are other things.  I've bought A LOT more junk off Amazon - you think of something that would be great, and usually it's available on Amazon.  I'd say I've been generally satisfied.

I bought a pair of sunglasses from DIFF and I love them. I wish I had gotten a spare pair when they were on clearance not long ago.

Not a lot, but Shady Rays almost has me wanting to buy 2 pairs (Bogo). A lot of podcasts are advertising stuff that sounds cool but I’m pretty cheap.

Allbirds. Saw some of the online ads, so researched them and was convinced. Bought a pair and love them.

That's a good ad. I'd probably give them a whirl if we didn't make our own detergent.

Duluth Trading underwear.  I was intrigued when I saw those cool ads with the tough guy swinging on the stripper pole.  My wife finally bought me a couple pair of the boxer briefs.  Much more comfortable than the lesser-brand ones I had tried - definitely more wicking and breathability.

I'm embarrassed to say I bought a miracle ink-stain cleaner 30 years ago because of an infomercial - I think it was NP-27?  Did absolutely nothing.

We have a couple of the MyPillow's, got them at Bed Bath & Beyond after seeing the ad.  We love them.

Now that barbershops are closed, thinking I should have bought that Flowbee when I had the chance .....

Besides food ads I haven't really every bought my self anything I've seen. I've been tempted to try some stuff just never have.

Zunardo - Im with you on the Duluth underwear. 2 years ago for Christmas my mother in law got all the males in the family a pair and they were the best. Last Christmas I got 3 more pairs in different style. I'll never buy them myself at that price though but they are amazing.

Duluth is a great brand, but I'm not sure if an ad tipped me off on them. I have a pair of Armachillo and Bullpen underwear, as well as a hoodie I picked up at their store in Duluth on my way to the Boundary Waters.
