Do not shove!  How many times do you see it when the pass rusher doesn't quite get there in time and shoves the B, or in this case chasing a guy who goes OB and he k nows he's going OB and slows down, while you have a good angle and are going full go and can't avoid a bump, do not shove, that'll cause a flag.  Did Romo say fire-able offense?  That a play like the Bengals of 5-15 years ago.

Wish they would have been more conservative on that second to last drive. Burrow scrambled for a first down after the holding penalty, they hand off to Mixon for 7 yards on first down with 7ish minutes left. They throw the deep pass to Chase and then the INT to Higgins. Keep it on the ground and use some clock.

It’d be nice if they could make a post season with a semi-healthy offensive line.

Travis Kelce just made sure the Cincy mayor can never go out in public there for years

Really really not….wait until you win at least

Everyone nowadays loves poking the bear. Chiefs clearly cared afterwards…maybe it gave them increased focus to not fumble or whatever, but the definitely caref

One of the dumbest penalties I can recall. They had OT in their sights, and he shoved Mahomes 2 feet OB. Sheesh.

Going to the SB against PHI could seriously harm Burrow's career longevity

Not a problem due to as boneheaded a defensive move as I've seen in a while

Hilton, I think. Got interviewed during a break in the first game.

Some line about proclaiming Burrow is Mahomes' daddy.

Ah nice. Along with getting burnt by Valdes-Scantling on the TD pass.

They should be a perpetual playoff team as long as Burrow is healthy but FFS clean up the trash talk. Punt Eli Apple into the sun.

Woke up to see the Chiefs win and a lot of crying on twitter about the refs.  Did the refs really cost the Bengals the game?

Their backup o-line cost them the game. Chris Jones fucked shit up.

I don’t like the complaining about refs (minus that play redo crap) or claiming conspiracies. We still lost. Who cares if they were bad.

I just watched the calls and I can see the gripes, but the Ossai penalty is on him.  That's just not smart football.

That's something a Browns player would do in a crucial moment.

Yes, 100%.  Even if the rules are soft when it comes to the QB, everyone knows the rules at this point.

Agreed. And to take it one step further, Cincy's loss was very Browns-like in that they gave up a huge punt return to get KC in a position for this personal foul to even happen.

The refs made some questionable calls. But lets not forget they took an Interception away and a TD away from the Chiefs on "bang-bang" calls. Game isnt even close, likely, without those going in the direction of Cincy.

And Cincinnati had the ball TWICE, with a chance to win or go up late, and they threw a pick and punted. And the punt, for whatever reason, didnt go OB. They allowed a 30 yard return. The loss was 100% on Cincinnati not executing in the clutch, and Mahomes doing what Mahomes does with a the ball and a chance to win.
