You know your last sentence is basically the dog whistle for calling someone an Uncle Tom?

Pretty close, unless you draw a distinction between someone being used without their knowledge and someone happily agreeing to be used.

You are digging your hole deeper  gee.

Thr fact that you don’t know them means the black community doesn’t and that’s why they switched to the gop?

Maybe that’s why but my point is what is their connection to the black community? Besides being black? Do they take any type of stance or comment on issues regarding black people? If I don’t know who they are it’s a good chance lots of other black people don’t know who they are. So why would people view them as someone to follow if that makes sense? Idk in this climate I can’t believe anyone would think I person of color would jump on board with the gop. Trump was just featured on the cover of a neo nazi magazine, now that’s not exactly his fault but can you say that any other candidate let’s say if kasich has won, with the exact same policies would be put on the cover as well?

For the record, I do believe Thomas Sowell has said plenty about the black community and political platforms that affect them.

Donald Trump is racist. That's probably why people of color don't support him.

Thomas Sowell is a BOSS. My favorite conservative writer/thinker, by far.

No argument here.

However, if a POC did support him, I'd have a hard time with the idea of them being written off as an Uncle Tom without any sound reason for it.

The idea of not being "allowed" to support a particular platform, or even a person if you disagree with the prevailing sentiment about them, seems highly problematic.

Our positions should be judged by rationality by which we got there, and not by the end conclusion itself.

lLOLOLOLO...Bernie is done.  His campaign chair wont pay their workers $15 an hour

Even with time and half I read where they make a little less than $13 per hour.

Thing is, it's one rung above unpaid volunteer, and most people are doing it for the experience and/or because they are passionate about the candidate  The article goes on to say many average over 60 hours but some have quit because they can't pay the bills.  Think about that.  It's a temp job that no one takes for the pay or lifestyle.  Except you're making the equivalent of $40k per year - a single 20-something can't live on that?  Really?!?

So that article really bought the lulz....Entitled millennials trying to live beyond their means working to elect a socialist.  The irony is obvious, right?

The danger of hiring acolytes when you're promising the world.  They expect you to deliver.

Trump vs. The Squad is some seriously slimey politics.

Of course, it's a win for them to be elevated by Trump.  And maybe a win for Trump to make them the face of the Democratic party.  But how in the world does Trump win exchanging insults with a bunch of crazy freshmen Reps?

I think this is the new political reality.  Trump showed how to generate massive, free publicity....and how to turn negative coverage to his benefit.  The Squad is following the same blueprint - when is the last time you can remember anyone paying attention to freshmen Congresspersons?  Ted Cruz is the only one I can immediately think of, and he kind of played the same game just without the over-the-top inflammatory and outrageous statements.

Trump playing 4D chess.  A win for the squad is a win for Trump when the Dem candidate for Prez is going to have to answer for them.  That is a sure way to lose the election.  The radical left is going to lose the election.  The dems could run anyone and they would lose defending them.  Trump keeping them in the news cycle is what he is doing.

Wait until the 2020 election. By that point, CC will have him up to 17D chess while everyone else is stuck on Tic Tac Toe.

And he won't be playing.  He'll be a Grand Master at 17D chess.

Know what?  That he doesn't actually know what he's saying?

I could be persuaded to believe that.  Dude's a simpleton.
