I took it like your parents yelling at you I'll turn the car around if you act up anymore kind of look. Dewine also kind of mentioned it last week as well. We are near the end, but has a very parents feel, don't screw this up vibe to it.

It was a fine address, which is the point. It was not a trainwreck or the greatest ever. It was boring and run of the mill.

I think more people than not are sick of the carrot dangling bullshit by now.   Most people are not going to wait for dementia Joe to tell them if they can have a cookout for the 4th of July.

Yeah, I agree. I took the July 4th day as a new barometer because a few weeks ago he mentioned Christmas as a date when things get to "normal".

lol. Crazy how things can change in a year. Those two are on the opposite side of the spectrum on nearly all things.

Reddit is actually full of these people, too. Some of the parenting threads are infuriating and I feel bad for the kids. “My sister isn’t taking quarantine serious and wants us to come over! My kids haven’t been out of the house in a year except we drove by their cousins house once and went to the pharmacy but only as a last resort!! Why can’t people just stay home, this is why we’re in this mess.”

Those threads are really common. And there’s hundreds of people agreeing with it.

It is rather unbelievable.  I am pretty sure they would walk right up the ramp into the boxcars is asked.

Just laughable.  And, it has nothing to do with policy per se, except Trump's policy of essentially getting government out of the fucking way so that private enterprise could deliver in record (miraculous) time.

By the way, Biden's laughable speech last night was just some more cover for the border catastrophe now underway.  Who would have ever imagined a U.S. president selling out to the drug cartels so they could vastly expand their human trafficking empire overnight.  Just sick.

Quaker as a Jew in 1941 Poland would have defied the Nazis heroically unlike the millions of sheep who went willingly?  Too bad you weren't around to lead them to freedom back then.

The optics of Biden’s speech on telling everyone that he will lock us back down if we get out of line isn’t going to play well.

The optics?  Who do you think controls the narrative?  Free thought is going away

Lol, it's Quaker. He'd be one of the guys herding them onto the boxcars.

The idea that you see the government as our parent is quite telling.  If my memory is correct you once referred to posters on this site as "kids" also quite telling.
