When you are a Marxist or socialist you are, essentially by default, an enemy.  We are not talking about differences between old school democrats and republicans, we are talking about radical ideologies that run completely counter to the foundation's of the republic.

Yes, it's absolutely best to take the view that people who disagree with your point of view are enemies.  Just look at history and see the wonderful leaders who approach things that way.  It always turns out well.

Guess you must be leaving your work computer while on vacation. 

I'm still trying to understand how geeblock thinks I should act because I have black/brown people in my family. Or how they should act because of the color of their skin. 

As far as I know they've never protested anything. Some of the older ones might have protested Vietnam, but I don't think so. I don't think anybody in my family did. 

But I'm genuinely curious about how people should act according to their skin color or how sympathetic they should be towards political causes.

yea I saw that.  When that is what the left wing media has on a guy is that story you know that he is a lock to be confirmed, loses votes in 2018 and re elects Trump in 2020.

3 dems submitted a bill trying to abolish ICE and hopefully the GOP is going to bring it to a vote to force Dems to be for or against it. From a strategy standpoint, this seems like a terrible move for the Dems. You are already going to win seats in California, NY, etc, this isn’t going to do anything good for their seats in middle America.

Supposedly it is going to.  These pols don't always think their actions all the way through - that's what happens when you have a singular focus on polls/elections rather than common sense.

And I don't think most of the Congresspeople are actually stupid, it's just hard to look intelligent while grandstanding, pandering and smearing.
