Original story 2:02 p.m. ET: An active shooting on an Oregon college campus is over, but the aftermath leaves up to 10 people dead and more than 20 people injured, CNN reported via Twitter.
It happened at Snyder hall at the Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon.
The shooter is in custody, CNN is reporting.
The first report came in around 10:45a.m. PT.
Agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosive were called to the scene, The Oregonian is reporting.
The college has about 3,000 students enrolled, The Associate Press reported.

I've already seen plenty of articles posted about how we need gun control. It's a joke whatever side you are on the issue. At least give the families of the victims 48 hours, before we go into full politard mode.

1. repeal the 2nd Amendment, it is an anachronism.
2. repeal laws that deinstitutionalized mental health treatment- build more facilities and make it easier to institutionalize those who are a danger to themselves and the community.
-side effect, 77% reduction in Ohio Chatter participants.
