How about a fair and balance discussion without bringing up "recruiting". My sons were ruled ineligible within hours of OHSAA getting a packet without checking with the other side 1st. Now the other Side, my Twins have to wait 2 weeks, the day before sectionals and then wait 48 hours for the result. To late ....season ended by a "Packet delivery" even if it turns out to be wrong. Please coaches! If you are a member of this organization I'am asking you for your help!!! Please flood the circuit boards and E-mails at the OHSAA and demand due process from your ASSOCIATION!!!!!!! Two great kids are being executed and their trial has been set one day after their death sentance.. Win or lose now they are done! Thank you and I look forward to your feedback.

Your lawyer (its a shame you have to retain one) should be able to get the OHSAA to review and rule on this thing, THIS WEEK! Hell, the administrators at the OHSAA aren't that busy! If a kids season hangs in the balance....Time should be made. Isn't that what the OHSAA is for?, to iron situations like this out in a timely manner?

When a grizzly bear(or should I say Golden bear) has its cubs attacked , well.... it can be very hard to control your emotions! From my viewpoint and the details I know...Waynedale Coach Louie Stanley would have NEVER let these boys in his wrestling room as TEAM members if they were not 100% approved and eligible!!! He has too much pride in his program and puts too much personal time in the off-season(unpaid) to jeopardize his wrestling team and his reputation. The "move" was STATE approved, Tuslaw Administration "released" and blessed the family. This is purely a WITCH HUNT and anyone that has the "eggs" to try and steal these young mens season, in fact have NO "eggs" at all. Spiteful, pitiful COWARDS!!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!

One of my theories is this. I did not Vacate my old house and that has some confused and making them Believe they found something "wrong"! There is a supplemental sheet where you can offer explanations as to why your not vacating a house after getting a house in the other school district. Just for clearing this up and it is the number one question I get, let me explain . The Apple creek home is jammed packed! You could not fit another Coffee cup in it! Iam sure the 60 inch Plasma TV would have been stolen when the house was broke into but they were trespassers looking for something not thieves!LOL! Anyway... To keep the old house I have converted it to our new home office. When this went down I convinced my partner in Las Vegas to leave the Glass Tower in Belden Village and move half our company to Nevada and the rest of the company to my old house in Tuslaw. We moved out of the Glass Tower from 5000 Square feet in Belden Village to 3000 Square feet of office space, 5ooo square feet of storage and 1500 square feet in meeting rooms at our old Tuslaw house. What a DAD does for his sons! We then have our Non for profit Team Nelson Training facility used for Athletic training! This is where the Olympic coaches come , stay over night , Disney camps are run and so forth. Additionally the complex is a registered tree farm. My wife and I are actually at that property now more than when we lived there. Our Hours are fro 8am to 9pm because off our west coast hours we must service. We work Hard long Days. We use to spend those hours in Belden Village. So tape away we are at work silly. So no we did not burn or get rids of all our stuff there...Like the silly rules say. This is AMERICA land of the free!!!! You can own property! You can leave it where you want! You can own a business ! Not everyone fits in the very small box that the OHSAA try to put them in. This will be made right!!!! Additionally if my family was not serious about finding a long term home in Waynedale to replace the smaller house we are miserable in. LOL. Why did I hire Kaufman Reality 2 weeks ago to give me an estimate on the Tuslaw home and compex and give Specific instructions to the agent to find our family a 80 to 150 acre farm in the Waynedale school district !!! If this was a game or trick would we wouldn't be hiring a agent . Mind you I knew nothing of a problem with eligibility when I hired the agent two weeks ago! So ...are and were the Nelson's serious about their move and was it legit!!?? Where is the common sense in this madness!!!! I can hardly wait to be vindicated . It truly is tragic that this familys lives are being turned upside down. Mrs Nelson and the younger children are terrified by the criminal activity taaking place. Trespassing, secret video taping, harassment, vandalism, home invasion, bullying, stalking.....I have to take my hat off to Dean Nelson, because he has handled this much better than I would have.

Let me share one More Beast. The Tuslaw Superintendent again , a great friend and supporter(on most of this) offered to let the two smaller children to stay enrolled in Tuslaw Grade school to let Stone finish his special classes when we moved and said it was common procedure to let kids finish. Little Stone comes home and is terrified to go back to school anymore. My little second grader looks at me and says Daddy why is our family traiters and is that why people hate us. A fifth grade Tuslaw youth wrestler Jacked my 2nd grader by the throat against the bus window roughed him up and told him our family was bunch of traitors! He is now being pulled outta there too . Now where are these kids getting this? in the wresting room and grown up parents there. I told my little guy some day when your a freshman that kid will be a senior and he will fear you on the wrestling mats but we don't hurt people off the mats. This stuff breaks a DADS heart.

Absolutely, and its insulting to tell 4 school officials that were all on the speaker phone conference that it never happened. Didn't OHSAA think the school would have phone records. Did they forget about the follow up e-mails even referencing the conference calls ? 4 affidavits from highly educated administrators? A highly recommended promotion to move for safety reason by the Tuslaw Superintendent! And Yes we have the follow up written approval by OHSAA. My guess the mystery packet is in reference to the exceptions we disclosed that she now "CAN"T remember" given by someone who was not aware of the exceptions! its all non sense. Saying my yes answer to having custody of my kids some how means my wife doesn't and we are divorced even though no such claim was ever discussed or put in writing in any way shape or form!! Yes simply means yes they are MY KIDS!LOL! Seriously, your better off being an illegal alien than a tax paying citizen in this country now a days. There is a illegal alliens out there by the thousands playing HS sports in the USA and my great Student athletes are not allowed.

I've been reading about this on the internet since Friday night. I've talked to many and just have to say Good Luck Dean! Witch-hunt you have called this at times and I see it as nothing more than that. Make someone mad and they can do, say and report things that aren't true.
I have met the Nelson family, worked a little at their man cave wrestling room. No man in this area does more to promote our sport than Dean. We talk sometimes and I can feel his frustration. I just don't understand how this could happen. The newspaper article listed above tells most of the story, but as Dean has stated many times (and I believe it also), this is America and if I want to move I CAN. It's not like the Nelson boys moved to Graham or transferred to St Edward (maybe that would be acceptable). They moved up the road and are wrestling the same kids they would have at Tuslaw.
Enough of the OHSAA telling us, the taxpayers and supporters of their organization what we can do. It is getting ridiculous!

I think when most people come to realize what the OHSAA did last year radically changed how Athletes health and safety was completely removed and stripped away by removing all rights of the Superintendent to approve a move if the heath, safety and welfare of the athlete was in danger! This is a first in OHIO history! A board of coaches basically a membership club now has all power over your tax paid Superintendent and has stripped him of all authority. In my twins case there was a radical safety issue which included criminal behavior that was totally documented but no charges were filed by the school. This situation made it impossible for my twins to stay. When the Tuslaw superintendent pleaded with OHSAA to allow the twins to transfer to Waynedale they reminded him that the Superintendent agreement in such cases had been abolishedas of last year. Further more they told him by even claiming a safety issue the twins would be automatically ineligible because now for the first time a athlete who transfers for a safety reason due to sports will automatically be ineligible even if he does everything right!!!! Because he can simply avoid the safety issue by quitting the sport! Has someone at OHSAA lost their mind and sense of common sense and compassion for the safety of our kids!! Are we sheep(parents) being led over the cliff? Are you OK with this crazy new rule? Are you happy the head tax paid official in your school the Superintend has had his rights stripped away to protect and intercede in a major safety situation by a board of coaches, a membership club sitting in Columbus!?? If I was not in this situation I would not believe that this could be true. Sadly it is. I'am a veteran, I'am a fighter, I've taken on City Hall and won. I helped kick a dictators butt in Libya! I won't have my son's right stripped away by lawyers and Clubs! I've been told to shut up. Ive been told these guys can make your life miserable for you and your kids! They will dig for info and make your life miserable! Well bring it on. Win or lose we are Americans! Home of the brave, land of the free! This will not stand wether something can be done in time for my own kids or not this fight will not stop till it is fixed for the good and welfare of athletes and their families ! We have rights too! I am rooting for you Falcon81! I used to coach in Wayne County so my thoughts will be with you guys as you push through this. Best advice for you has already been acted upon. LAWYER UP!!! and make sure your legal council understands that the OHSAA's best weapon is their lack of a sense of urgency. They will try to drag it out until it doesn't even matter anymore.

Well we got something in writing finally and its looking like its a Tuslaw person behind it. The reason stated is still the affidavit misunderstanding on the yes or no question. The people that sent the packet appears to be a Tuslaw person. Thats a relief for all of us if true because I like Wayne county as I said before and would not have held it against them had it been someone from there. Another Smithville type episode it probably . We will know more after meetings with Lawyers today it appears.

Well I promised a update here it is. Three hour meeting with Lawyers and 5000 dollars poorer. Wife needs your prayers and my son's are a wreck.... But who cares its just kids and wrestling. My youngest Two pulled out of school today( both 2nd graders) for good. Stone severely bullied and beat up on school bus by a 6th grade Tuslaw(jacked up by the neck off his feet) youth wrestler and family called "Traitors" , Not funny but Poor Stone thought that meant his family was going to Jail, and was cornered and intimidated by a teacher trying to make him explain where he lives what floor he sleeps on last week...I was in that school today and they will never step foot in a TUSLAW school ever again. Tuslaw people are behind the packet it appears. Good news we reviewed the allegations with the Waynedale AD and the letter of ineligibility and the school absolutelystill believes we are 100percent in compliance with the rules and the Afidavit is being totally misread and there is no FRAUD by anyone, the school and my family did everything correct ...Thats good. Bad news... The OHSAA timed this event and letter absolute worse case. The hearing the 17th is one day before sectionals and the results not released till 2 days later season over even if we win appeal. If we lose the twins lose two seasons and can't wrestle till their senior Year!!!!!!! because the 1 year suspension starts the day after sectional and ends one day after sectional the next year!!!!!!!!! Hence you won't see the twins for 32 months till their senior year!!!!!!!!!! Tuslaw you handled them unfairly when they were loyal to you and because of your actions they suffer. You now hound and follow us around deliver a packet and ruin two kids lives that have never, never, done anyone wrong ever. The drunks , abusers, and the lazy get to continue. Congrats to the Tuslaw coaching staff if you succeed in your quest to stop the twins, you have been working on it for years, maybe as hard as my sons wrestle. Despite being one of the biggest donors at your fund raisers, bring in at our families cost the USA Olympic coach once a month all season last year for all the Tuslaw kids to learn from. Volunteer wresting coach unpaid for a whole season. Remember Coach Horvaths words after every single practice last year. "Practice is over, Coach Nelson and the twins are going to run a extra hour practice for those that want extra work" And then he would leave never staying once to help. No not even once. Never not once said "Thanks" . ..... Now this!!!! See you all 2013 state tournament the twins senior year if this does not break my sons faith in the sport and the system .
