Lost my oldest brother today to addiction. Don’t do them don’t try them they will fuck you up or end a perfectly good life. Now I gotta go home and comfort my mom as she puts her first son in the ground something no mother should have to do.

It's terrible and sorry for your loss. Girlfriend's niece got murdered with heroin.

Agree with your sentiments about opioids. I have a family member who struggles with that addiction. Morphed into alcoholism on top of it. Addiction is a messy business.

Very sorry to hear that, man. Had my own experiences with others on shit like that and dealing with that wasn't exactly enjoyable.

big opioid presence in my family. several cousins have OD'd multiple times. only lost 1 so far but if i'm real, there will be others i'm sure. So i support your vent here man, it's a scourge that we need to devote as much attention to as we do covid.


I'll add that it's seeming to pickup steam in SEOH here in the last 12 months. my best friend from high school has been given 5 narcan shots in the past 2 weeks.
