Yeah, no fucking around this year with trying to prove you're "tough" and getting caught up in pounding the interior run game to no real effect. Use your best guys in the way in which they are their best and just take care of business.
What's the level of confidence heading into this game for OSU?
Are Tate and Smith going to play?

My guess is yes. I think if they were seriously injured, we’d have been told something.
This is the year. I hate losing to these guys. Use that defense to shut down their run and put it on Underwood to move the ball. I don’t think he can do it.
Prolly ought to win this year
OSU 30
Michigan 17
OSU by a lot.
If Tate and Smith are healthy, we win by 25+.
If they aren't its a close game, 7-10 pts.
I read on Bucknuts that Tate is fine and will be good for Saturday.
Just held out for precationary reasons and to be 100%.
No idea on Smith tho.

Reporter there or in forums? Mind linking it? I saw the headling from bucknuts yesterday but I couldn't read past the first paragraph as I don't pay for it.
Just saw that J. Smith said yesterday, on Caleb Downs podcast that..."I'm feeling good. Dealing with a little situation injury-wise, but I should be good to go for Saturday."

That's what I saw, too. And I'd imagine that's all we'll know until the game's starting Saturday. Day's about like New England Belichick as far as not giving away ANYTHING he doesn't have to until the very last minute.
That is not the report I’d want in Smith. He may play, but that is as pessimistic as you’ll get in a situation like this.
