How much were tickets if you don’t mind me asking? Or do you get a hookup through your son?

I can get all the free ones I want but last couple has had us up high and we spent $35 each for really good seats….but I could get 10 free tickets to watch Clemson next week if I let my son know by Tuesday

Game was trash. I knew they were pretenders from game 1 but Jesus Christ they take the ball first every game and never do a thing with it. 4 false starts in first 9 plays. Every first down they go hurry up and hand off to same back every time and it literally hasn’t worked since week 2.

Driving down to a 2 score lead in the 3rd qtr and a dirty shot on the Qzb knocked him out of the game and lost top 2 receivers. Then play calling was balls….then refs called holding 30 yards from the play and on a crucial 4th down stop, refs said they weren’t ready. Jesus Christ it couldn’t have been more irritating.

Oh well…hopefully my kid enjoys the Military Bowl or the Fenway Bowl

That’s pretty cool. I need to steer my son that way apparently. He’s six but I’m still buying him a fucking tuba on Monday.

Yeah…it real cool all he’s gotten to do. He’s the trombone section leader and there are 30 trombones. He knows most of the 300 member band snd each band kid get 1 free ticket for every home game. First 5-6 games we were in great seats for some big games.

Not sure if I’m going next week Vs Clemson or not. But pregame stuff is awesome

Next week is final home game? They’re at Louisville week after which wouldn’t be an impossible drive. Then at Boston College the final week. Might as well go if so. And Clemson would be a fun watch.

Band only travels to 1 road game and if they make a bowl.

If QB and top 2 WR plate out they’ll lose out. Depth isn’t good. Had a Great opportunity this year but maybe a bit unlucky and squandered

Will likely go to Louisville for women’s volleyball final 4 as he get to travel with them as well. They have been #1 team last 9 weeks.

I didn’t know that.  Don’t know why I assumed the other.  Well, that is excellent.

Bleh…ridiculous

Pitt’s coach doesn’t have control

3 consecutive defensive offsides on 3rd 21

4 false starts last week in 7 plays

3 delay of game penalties and back to back ones coming out of a timeout

Had ball late in 1st half and snapped ball with 29 seconds left and allowed Clemson a long FG, which was pivotal

3rd and goal from the 1 and they settled for a 40 yard FG

Pitt should’ve easily won that game. Virginia fucked them last week with a dirty shot to the QB and he’s still out. Pitt isn’t that good but should damn well be 9-1, but oh well. Was a fun atmosphere and I get to see my kid.

I feel for you.  Pitt gave that away.  The disorganization on that offense was criminal.  To have friggin’ Dabo on the ropes and let him and that jerkoff quarterback of his get away with a win - oh man.

Pitt is just barely on the wrong side of being a really good team.

Big day for the underdogs.  I was really pulling for Luke Fickell to get the big win.  But Oregon is a great team - that pulled out a gutsy win on the road.  Tennessee got found out as did BYU.  Can’t wait until the showdown next week at the Shoe.

BTW, “Jump Around” at the end of the third quarter at Wisconsin is awesome.  We desperately need to move on from “Hang on Sloopy”. It’s time has passed.

I like your list.  I’d totally forgotten about the conference champions getting the top four.

I’m not sure that’ll last beyond this year.

SMU and Boise St getting byes and home games over the big boys from SEC and Big 10….eh

I’d be more willing to just go with a committee listing the top 12

Edit: they just said this is a 2 year trial before they look at changing anything.

Apparently Buckeyes down another offensive lineman with McLaughlin going down in practice. Going to start getting tough to patchwork one together, since that is their weakest link as far as units go on the team.

Was sent this from a buddy:

OSU potential next 7 opponents over 9.5ish weeks

Indiana

Michigan

Oregon

Boise

BYU

Oregon/Bama

Texas/Georgia

I know Michigan is getting 23.5 points (which is insane - has to be one of the higher OSU/UM spreads) and Boise and BYU aren't exactly giant killers, but if OSU does advance to the title game and win it all - that is a pretty impressive gauntlet that they will survive.

They beat Mich and Indiana I consider the Oregon matchup as moo to winning the national championship

I’ll never understand being so cautious and obvious when you get the ball first. Every team on planet earth I root for does it.

There are 110,000 fans ready to bust and it’s just gonna be 3 and out while the underdog opponent also gets ball first to come out if the half.

Crazy how many 1st drives are just wasted possessions.

Definitely a nice part of the equation for potential upsets/let downs/closer than should be games

So many short passes that go nowhere too. But converting 3rd and 25 was nice.

Chip Kelly isn’t doing well.

On 3rd down they ran it to the 1 1/2 at worst but hall was spotted on the 2?

They are looking at 4th down on replay but 3rd down spot was the killer.

IU Coach calling the timeout with 8 seconds to regather and halt momentum and then quarter ended…again, Day getting out coached in important moments.

1st possession wasted

2nd possession seemed very productive but zero points.

2 wasted possessions in a game where you might only get 10-11 possessions….might be the middle of the 3rd qtr before they get their 5th po
