I’ve always wondered if anyone would break Wilt’s record for most points in a game. Closest we’ve come is when Kobe had 81 and even that was fifteen years ago.

They are curbstomping the bad teams that have the unfortunate pleasure of falling on the schedule during this incredible run.

They will be buyers, not sure what constitutes as serious, though. If they want to go big, they have one of the best pieces to offer in Sexton. 

Every metric has them as the top team in the East and the adjust schedule record has them as around a 21-9 team vs 18-12. 

In other words, nothing on paper suggests that the on court results are “flukey” or should regress — other than maybe the margin of victories. There will be a let down, this type of play is impossible to sustain. But there really isn’t a reason they can get in and compete in the playoffs other than youth that hasn’t experienced it yet.
