I still need to watch the last season of The Expanse. It’s definitely a space opera more than hard sci-fi but it’s good stuff.

I’ve enjoyed the few episodes of Fleishman in Trouble. I can’t tell who sucked more in their marriage.

Not all TV per se, but what is everyone catching up on during this down time?  I’m almost through season 3 of The Boys. Gonna start on Jack Ryan latest season next. Top Gun Maverick was sick (now out on Paramount). Just watched the Weird Al “fake” documentary on the Roku channel and it was hilarious. First cassette I ever had was Bad Hair day and first concert I ever saw was Weird Al, so I have a soft spot.

I haven’t started Jack Ryan yet but plan to soon.

I haven’t been watching much lately. I knocked out the new season of Last Chance U on Netflix in about a week, though.

Watched first few episodes of S3 of Jack Ryan. John Krasinski plays that role perfectly.

Have last few shows of 1899 to watch.  It's kind of like Dark meets Westworld, so it's complicated.  I'd have to watch again paying closer attention.

I’ve been trying to watch this. Been stuck on episode 1 for 4 nights because my wife has zero interest and then I get too tired and realize I’m not paying attention. Rinse and repeat lol.

Started watching Brooklyn Nine Nine. Very funny.

Also started The Peripheral on Amazon. Good so far.

Most of B99 is funnier than Parks and Rec but not quite The Office (all 3 same creators if you didn’t know)

Except for the last season, last season was dog shit.

I really want to start Peripheral soon, looks really interesting. I am 7.5 seasons through Smallville currently

Yeah the last season was rough, but overall it’s great

I like B99, but no way is it as good as Parks and Rec. I think that may be better than the Office, but probably falls just short.

Peripheral is on my watch list. Currently early in the fourth season of The Expanse. Has a few overly-scripted moments, but is really cool overall.

Yup, some of the funniest scenes ever on TV are on B99

I can see that, I rank those 3 as Office, then B99, then Parks.

But Ron Swanson is the best character ever on TV.

Ron is the GOAT. Captain Holt is very high on my list. So are Kevin and Dwight.

Well, Netflix canceled 1899 so probably cross that one off your list

Finally finished all seasons of Yellowstone on Peacock. Now I guess I need to get Paramount+ to watch season 5?

I guess so.  TBH, S5 and S6 drop significantly in quality, but still entertaining.

But when you do subscribe to Paramount+, also definitely check out 1888 which is one season and excellent.  They also just started 1923, which will probably be 1 season.

S2 of Mayor of Kingstown is starting.  It's extremely dark, probably too much so for a lot of people.  It has some pretty disturbing stuff.  Overall it has a lot of potential, but I'm still a bit on the fence.

There is no S6 of Yellowstone.

1883 and 1923, imo, have both been better than Yellowstone (any season). I have stated I am nostalgic for the Oregon Trail though, so 1883 makes sense. And very much digging the Wild West and African settings of 1923.

I wonder how "historically accurate" the Wild West in 1923 really is. I haven't studied that era, but I don't remotely associate the 20's with the Wild West I learned about in the 1700s and 1800s.

Although who knows, because Vegas in the 40's-60's was probably very much like that.

1923 has already been renewed for a 2nd season.
