The reason I made this thread is because of two different court cases that are going on right now. There are and have been other case that are high profile, knee-deep in pop culture, but these are particularly divisive cases.
1.) Tyler Robinson case. He's the guy who shot and killed Charlie Kirk. I'm firmly in the camp that this is a pretty open/shut case. However, there are also the TikTok and Candace Owens types who think it's a government psyop or that Israel killed Charlie Kirk and that Tyler Robinson is a patsy.
2.) Lyndsey Clancy case. This is the mother who killed her three babies by strangulation. I'm also firm in my opinion that the only place she should be lodged in is a wood chipper. But there is also the camp that think she was driven insane by a voice that she only heard right before she killed her babies and has never heard since. Which, by the way, never happens like that. There has never been a case where somebody experiencing psychosis only heard a voice once. The last and imo the worst of the camps are the people (mostly women who download their opinions from TikTok) who think Lindsey Clancy is completely innocent, because her husband did it.
Are there any such standouts currently going on that you've been paying attention to? What is everybody's opinions on these two?
