Has anyone every used a product like Invisalign, Smile Direct, Candid, etc? I'm considering one in the near future, curious to hear of any experiences anyone has had with any of them.

All I know is it's more work than you think. Very gradual and you'll always have to wear them somewhat to prevent shifting. I've had several friends go with Invisaign, all with positive results.

I mean, some individual companies might be less than reputable, but it's pretty clear this is an effective treatment for literally millions of people.

The more I read the more I'm leaning towards spending more with Invisalign versus one of the cheaper newcomers like Candid or Smile Direct. We've got a decent bit of money in an HSA that it would likely not cost anything out of pocket anyway.

Hear, hear! I wore braces for two years, then a retainer for 4 more years. The only reason I stopped was the plastic palate plate broke, because my teeth always wanted to shift back. Today, the alignment is noticeably different (after nearly 40 years), but still much better than when I first had the braces.
