I predict they get 9 wins but miss out.
Lots of Browns fans on here so figured I'd pose this question. Do the Browns make the playoffs? If so, is it as the winner of the North or a wild card?

As long as Baker doesn't have a sophomore slump I think they can win the wildcard and possibly the North. LB'ers are the only true concern on this team. Pretty solid to good nearly everywhere else.
11-5 AFC North champs
They win the North.
I picked them as a WC. I'm not ready to buy them as a division winner yet, just based on history. But I do hope they win the North.
I’m going with they win the North.
Our time has begun.
heart says yes, head says no...still a year away, imo

Not a real Browns fan, but I agree here. I think they are still a year away. 2020-2021 will be a great year for them though.
I think so. I’ve typically been pretty spot on with my expectations with the Browns and I’m real bullish on this squad (and Baker). OBJ is reallllly fucking good. If Baker is worth what we think, he easily takes OBJ back to the best in NFL (Eli couldn’t even throw it 10 yards and OBJ was still top 5 at worst). Myles might win DPOY in a breakout year.
Plus I don’t think the division is great. I see 4-2 floor for them within division.
I wouldn't be shocked with any of the three outcomes for various reasons, but fuck it I am feeling dangerous. Browns are winning the north.
Agreed ^
I'll go further. We win a playoff game.
I think they’ll show to be a top 6 (maybe top 4) caliber AFC team but feel stuff will not go their way and they go 8-8 and miss out
Quite possible they win the north, a 9-7 record might do it this year
If Mayfield doesn't regress, teams won't be able to stop this offense (especially when they go 5 wide) if they stay healthy. If the defense is middle of the road they'll be a playoff team.
they’ll be a good team in a bad division. Playoffs it is.
My hesitation is I don't think the division is going to have much of a drop off as people think. The Ravens always find a way to be competitive with their defense and the Steelers won't drop off as long as rapist is still fine. They lost AB, but still have JuJu. Losing Bell isn't that big of a loss considering they had great production from Connor. Their OL is very strong and their defense is tough.
No.
I think the Steelers win the North and the Browns are fighting for the last wildcard spot, but fall short.
I do think they fijish 8-8 or 9-7

And the Bengals will be pretty good too right????

Ravens being good when they shouldn't is super annoying and true. Harbaugh is a damn good coach. Steelers are never down for long, and even their down is like the Browns best season in a decade SMH. AFC North is probably the toughest division in football.
I'm not as bullish on the Rats, with Lamar Jackson at QB, as some of you. He can improve but the book is out on Uncle Rico. The Bolts wrote the playbook on how to defend that offense in the playoffs.
