Also to add fuck Indiana’s gm for pulling a deal that was agreed on that had Paul George in Cleveland. This wouldn’t even be a thread if it wasn’t for that dumb fuck

That still pisses me off, but in hindsight, Pritchard made the absolute right call.

Hasn’t McCollum states he wants to try and play with all guys from NE Ohio? He admitted its impossible, but maybe there is something to him coming home.

  • Curry
  • McCollum
  • James
  • Sampson
  • Nance
  • Rozier (6th man)

Lol, that team would fucking win a title. Crazy.

I can honestly say that I don't want Curry on the Cavs.  My hatred for him outweighs anything.

Oh it wouldn’t happen. But maybe McCollum can come in as the 3rd wheel to play at home.

Definitely Curry for me. I just laugh at Braymond.  He's an overrated role player.

I personally think he stays in Cleveland. A good sign is that he has been in contact with the Cavs the entire time. When he left Cleveland and Miami he had zero contact at all. I also think the Cavs have some trades in place that will go through if lebron resigns. Basically everything is just waiting on lebron

I don't see it.  I thought the Cavs needed to make the moves prior to the picks happening and they didn't.  If they keep Lebron and still make moves I will be pleasantly surprised.

I've thought he wanted to stay all along but will they be able to add the pieces to keep him? I just get this feeling he doesn't want to be known as a ring chaser after leaving for Miami previously.

i'm leaning towards him not staying after the draft went the way it did. Not sure why, but I get the feeling LBJ wanted to get a "right now" type of player via trade or maybe some help on defense (ala Mikal Bridges) I just feel like the Cavs going with Sexton was them saying, "okay Lebron, we are going to facilitate the offense without you now. Love and Sexton are the focal points now."

After listening to Magic Johnson's press conference yesterday and hearing all of the new buzz about reasons he could stay, I'm even more confident that LBJ will be here at least one more year. Sounds like it's down to the Lakers & Cavs and the Lakers are fading.

You think the lakers are fading based on a magic Johnson press conference?

No. I think the Lakers are fading because I think PG is staying in OKC and Lebron really isn't going to have a better situation to go to, this year. Now I think he could leave for LA next year but I think we'll be able to enjoy his talents one more year. There are too many things pointing to him staying put.

I initially voted Philly, but the longer this goes on, I'm leaning towards him staying in Cleveland...just a feeling.

At this point, I don't think Philly has a shot. If I were to throw down odds I'm saying 70% Cleveland, 28% LA & 2% Philly. Don't even have Houston or OKC in the mix.

I'm leaning more in this direction but my breakdown is more like, 75% Cleveland, 20% LA, 5% OKC. I'm also more and more inclined to believe that he's going to stay put 1 more year and next year where he goes will be largely based on what HS his son chooses. Seems like they've been on a whirlwind tour of all the best schools in cities with NBA franchises.

Assuming he stays, I'm just hoping the front office can somehow pull a rabbit out of their ass to acquire a player(s) that will encourage him to stay a few more years.
