Great win. The Rays won't die, damn Yankees. It did help the As lost last night.

On the other side, the Nats did clinch a Wildcard spot last night. The manager pretty much said Schezer would pitch the Wildcard game. Strasburg is scheduled to pitch on Thursday, so the Indians are going to likely miss the Nationals 2 best pitchers.

If the wildcard race ends in a 3-way tie; how will that be worked out.

The fucking Rays have won like 7 extra inning games in a row. And those have occurred in the last 10 days I think.

My buddy is an As fan, and we are hoping it's an Indians-As Wildcard game. We have a daily text thread where most of it is usually complaining about the fucking Rays and how they won't die. They are the cockroaches of the MLB.

Not sure if this is valid but it's definitely interesting. I had heard (this morning) that there would be a Team A, Team B & Team C and Oakland (who has the best record against both teams) would get to pick whether they wanted to be Team A, B or C. The way it would work is that Team A would host Team B. The winner of that game would be in and the loser would have to play AT Team C. Winner of that would play at the first winner for the final spot. So, the smart move would probably be to be Team C so you only had to play one game before facing the winner of the first game, if this makes any sense.

With that being said, with the way the Rays are playing, I think the Tribe has to win out to ensure at least a tie. No margin for error, imo.

Won 8 extra inning games in a row.  Trailed in 14 of their last 15, won 10 of them.

Thanks. Everytime I look they are losing. Then check back and some shitty bullpen is giving up back to back jacks. Luckiest stretch in their history. Good? Yes. But also extremely lucky. Even the best teams in history don’t get that kind of fortune.

The A's would have to piss down their leg and the Rays remind me of the Tribe the year they had to win 10 straight, just to make the WC...when Giambi hit that walkoff. Just don't see it happening. The injuries sucked but they needed to TCB against shitty teams like Baltimore & Miami. Those are teams they should've handled like the Tigers.
