I support Morey.  Tsai is an asshat.  Fuck the NBA as an organizational structure is my current stance.  Praying that a high majority of the players come out in support of guys like Morey, and against the NBA.  Fuck China for all that it is.

And a mega huge LOL to South Park's episode on Chinese censorship.  If you have not seen it, go watch it now.

Hilarious that the woke ones like Kerr and Simmons are now oddly quite. Ya fucks.

Pretty disappointed with Lebrons words on Morey. Comes off as quite the dbag.

That's because Lebron IS a (incredibly egocentric) d-bag.  I love Kanter's tweet.  This China shit is letting every idiot out there show their ass.  For the first time since he entered the league, I may find myself rooting against Lebron.

I’ve never seen political twitter agree on something as much as they all agree LeBron’s statement was absurdly bad.

The funny/sad part is he had a few days to think about what to say and that's what he came up with LOL.  I am getting a kick out the woke NBA culture biting them in the ass.   There is only so much virtue signaling you can do, before it comes back to haunt you.

One minute part of Leboob's tweet I'll agree with... Morey didn't understand the impact.  That speaks for just about everyone who posts stuff online.  Nothing is ever calculated.  It's all knee-jerk.  I agree with Morey's post, but it was not calculated.  Would have been much better if he would have known the full impact of his tweet... THEN tweet it anyway!  I wish we lived in a world where everyone fully understood each side to a debate before debating.  But that has never existed, nor will it ever.

I don't, because there is 0 chance Lebron (or everyone else in the NBA) would consider the "timing" and impact of their woke tweets and posts.

I'm just talking in general, I guess.  I can understand what he said as a general point, rather than a point HE was trying to make (hypocrite), if that makes sense.

I'd love it if Morey would say, "I know the exact impact my post would have.  And I'd do it again."   Like Samuel L. Jackson in A Time to Kill: "Yes, they deserve to die, and I hope they rot in hell!"

Thank you, Mr. Wolken.

If you were a "shut up and dribble" or a "stick to sports" guy you probably shouldnt even comment on it because thats exactly what you asked for.

I don’t even understand what LeBron was trying to say. It was borderline incoherent. Just random thoughts popping into his head and he said then out loud. If you side with China on this for business purposes, you should probably not speak publicly at all on it. Because you will not win in the public’s eye.

The concept of elite pro athletes using their status to be activists for social issues is cool and all, but it sort of loses its luster when they immediately put a "shut up and dribble" gag order on themselves when a particular issue threatens to inconvenience themselves on a financial level.

"We're about equality and the same rights and justice for all!!!! Well....except for those guys suffering from inequality over there...because the bigwigs there are really good to us as far as business goes and they won't be if we get critical of them!!!!!"
