We could pick up 1100 (WWWE) at the time now WTAM in Newark and my Dad and I loved listening to Pete Franklin.

He used to claim that he could be heard in 38 states and half of Canada.

Two questions for today:

- What fullback/running back represented the Browns in both the 1979 and 1980 Pro Bowl?

- What Indians outfielder was named to the All-Star Game in both 1974 and 1975 and then traded to the Padres in 1976?

Go Browns!

This is NOT a Cleveland question, but i'm posting it here for the heck of it. I came across this info while doing some reading earlier today.

Who was the first high school athlete to be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Ironman92 gave Greg Pruitt as an answer to which I responded "right church, wrong pew".  The correct answer was Mike Pruitt.

And here are my two questions of the day:

- What infielder spent two stints with the Indians during a career that spanned from 1982 all the way to 2007?

- What LSU linebacker did the Browns select with the sixth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft? (first and last name, please)

Oh, many apologies.....I completely missed your post.  You are absolutely correct!

Take a look at the time stamps on your post and then mine.  That's why I missed it.

Also close. Maybe the purest shooter in history. Went to Purdue. About 15 years before Bird, I think?
