Such a fucking clown show. This has Haslam's greasy fingers all over it. Until he's no longer the owner this team will never advance.
Well is sounds like Matt Ryan is taking the same stance as Mayfield. Feels the "bridge has been burnt."

He's interesting. But old Matt Ryan - outdoors in the AFCN - might not be any better than Mayfield.
Where's Frank Ryan when you need him.

If he can get them to the 2023 draft, I'd be fine with it.
Adults in both the front office and the QB room! The running of mouths has ruined leverages!

He’s still kickin’ at 85.

You watched Baker this year, right?
Browns are so good at dominating the off season headlines.

If I'm Amari Cooper I'm thinking "what kind of shit show am I walking into?"
Saw a quote from a competing front office member that said "For a bunch of Ivy League guys, they never seem to handle things intelligently."
This thing has been botched from both sides. Granted, the Browns supposedly told Mayfield they'd look to upgrade if a stud QB became available. Not good.
Mayfield's reaction yesterday was one of a petulant child. Ok, you want traded. Ask Berry behind closed doors, not demand it through Adam Schefter. I've been a Baker guy but this tells me even if he were to bounce back he doesn't have the maturity to lead a franchise.
Meanwhile, they're playing with their junk as free agents are getting signed right & left. Bengals, Steelers and Ravens all have made some decent upgrades.

I'm merely saying Matt Ryan hasn't been the Matt Ryan people are thinking of for a few years. And, he's been significantly better playing in domes.
So, yeah, I don't think he's much of an upgrade to Baker. That said, I'd love to see CLE sign him!
Ryan will likely end up in Indy
Sounds like this has been brewing for a while. Guess the Browns have been pissed for some time that every time they'd have a private meeting with Mayfield that the information soon became public through the media.
OMG...Schefter just tweeted Watson changed his mind and is coming to Cleveland
It is now up to the Texans and Browns to finalize a trade agreement for Deshaun Watson.
