2022 NFL Season Thread

I have a London question.

I know they’ve been playing there for several years but I can’t remember ever being very interested in the game as it’s often teams I don’t care a lot to watch. Today it’s the Vikings/Saints, pretty meh. However the place is popping pretty good and it’s a good watch. Place is packed but I’m seeing apparel from many many NFL teams. You think the crowd is mostly locals of the huge city and transplanted Americans (job related) filling the stadium or a large number of Saints/Vikings fans made the special trip, mini vacation? The variety of apparel has me guessing Americans working in London….or is it just London folks buying whatever NFL apparel and giving it a look?

Thoughts?

Well, I guess the kid came thru when it really mattered. I did not expect a comeback win here.

Wilson was fine when it mattered.

Sure would like Friermuth to pull down one of those two balls and then both somehow end up in the hands of the other defender. Not the best luck. Lose Fitzpatrick and Heyward on last drive wasn’t optimal.

Game should’ve been a W….both teams showed some promise. Kenny got the place going and made some big throws. The baker Mayfield comparison seems solid right now. We’ll see. He’s a football player regardless. Great fight. I like what I saw. If we are going to lose….Kenny is way more fun to watch.

And yes those FG balls are juiced. Boswell from 59 looked good from 70.

I think Tomlin sucks.  Every loss is a step in the right direction for the REAL rebuild.

IMO they’re going to have to lose a lot more games before they fire him. Like multiple bad seasons.

Indeed.

They could be 4-0 right now if they ran an actual NFL offense.  Not saying they're a good team, just that those were all winnable games with a modern offense.

AFCN is trash. 9-8 or 10-7 will likely win that division if a team can actually win 10 games.

Ehhhh, I think CIN and BAL are going to end-up being pretty good.

But PIT is definitely a bottom-5 team.  Hard to say with CLE, and I don't think Watson will turn them around this year.  But next year, watch out.
