Tough years are ahead. Ben should retire the Monday after week 17. Those wounded duck throws are a clear sign....he's fucking done.

As far as the defense, I'm still at a loss for words.

Woof. That pick 6 he threw to Hilton I could see coming like a freight train. That ball just hung up there. Their offense, like the Browns, is anemic but a Steeler fan's concern might be more so with the defense. I know Watt is banged up, and they didn't have Haden, but they've given up 82 points in 2 weeks.

Bengals looking like the class of the division right now, if they stay consistent. The Ravens either have a lucky horseshoe or compromising pictures of Roger Goodell they're using to get these wins. Not a SB threat, imo.

I've witnessed solid Browns defenses start to get shredded as the weeks go on. At some point, when you know the QB and offense is done, its impossible to keep playing well.

I was thinking last night if not for Garrett being everywhere the Browns would be getting throttled. His constant pressure helped Lamar into 4 picks. Pressure on the QB is the most important thing that affects the game score and as long as Myles is going full the Browns will have to keep finding other ways to lose.

The team discipline is very noteworthy. Bad look for the coach.

Not to be a non-Browns guy coming on the Browns thread but my team has like 4 players that are even trying (1 being the kicker)…so no shameful touting here

Ben was pretty darn good today and minus 2 drops that cost him 75 yards and a TD….would’ve been great

Very very few breaks and Ravens had some damn lucky bounces and calls go their way.

I still don’t think the Ravens are very good, they are so damn close to being 5-7 instead of 8-4, Lamar isn’t a very good QB (incredible athlete)

With everyone’s schedule remaining….I still say the division is wide open, unfortunately with their schedules unless Ravens and Bengals come out on top of these tough remaining battles, they might knock each other from a wildcard spot

A piece of NFL trivia that I just learned today...

What year did "grasping an opponent's facemask" become illegal?

Bonus points if you can identify what PLAYER'S play from the prior season precipitated the rule (Hint.......he's a Hall of Famer).

I’ll guess 1961 and George Blanda, next guess Unitas….then Tittle

No effing idea though

Wasn’t Otto the first to wear a face mask in the 50’s?

I'll put it this way to clarify...

This HOF defender caused injury by grabbing the face mask to tackle a ball carrier. (The ball carrier had an obscure name, I'd never heard of him).

BTW,  the tackle referred to WAS in a game in 1961. The rule was instituted for 1962 season.

Open for guesses on who the defender/tackler was.

Turns out, not so bad.

What is that 5 or 6 straight?  Might as well just give em the trophy.

5 in a row and actually in the hunt for the playoffs. I wonder how many teams have lost 7 in a row and then won 5 or more in a row immediately after?

Not Dick Butkus, but ironically enough NFL Films ranked Butkus as the #1 most feared tackler in NFL history, the answer to the trivia question is ranked #2.

Sam Huff?

Good guess, but not Huff.

This guy played from 1952-1965, inducted into HOF in 1974. Unanimous selection to NFL 100th Anniversary All Time Team in 2019.

I just tossed another Trivia Question onto the College Football Thread. HaHa, I did a ton of reading yesterday.
