This game was a very bad look for Harden, especially as he stands to make $47/million next season. Good for him and Westbrook for being some of the highest paid players despite looking like shells of their former selves.
The Mavs -Suns series is bizarre. Headed for a game seven but no game has been decided by less than seven points. The Mavs have actually lost two games by 20 and 30 points. They just alternate games where the home team wins usually by an uninteresting margin. It’d be nice if game 7 was close but at this rate Phoenix will win by 25.
So, ticket #2 to the conference finals, much to the displeasure of this board, was punched tonight by Golden State. The potential of that series felt overshadowed by flagrant fouls, injuries, and just overall dumb chippiness. Gary Payton II played basically just the first game, Morant went out late in game three, Brooks missed almost all of games 2 and 3 from his flagrant foul.
Tatum rescues Boston's title chances tonight with a 46 point effort and looked unstoppable in the 4th quarter. They'll go back to Boston for game seven on Sunday along with Dallas - Phoenix also in game seven that night.
It seems like we're set up for Boston - Miami and Phoenix - Golden State. Not really surprising, they had four of the top five records in the standings this season. I don't really have a rooting interest in any of those teams. I'd much rather see Milwaukee or Dallas but winning a game seven on the road will be really difficult. If it happens, it's because Doncic or Giannis put on a hell of a performance.
Tatum hasn’t been consistent, so banking on another 40-piece seems like a stretch. Giannis gets 40 as he walks on the floor. I like Milwaukee, as long as Jrue keeps Brown in check.
Also want to see Doncic prove his status with an all timer. Doesn’t even have to win, but take it to the wire.
I'm pulling for the Suns.

It’s effortless for him to and probably barring a major injury still a few years away from his prime.

Agree. But year 4-5 is when the all timers typically make their playoff push. LeBron took the worst Cavs team ever to the Finals. Kobe. Shaq did it year 3. Jordan hit the ECF his 4th year I think. Luka is great, at some point he’s gotta get past round 1-2 of the playoffs — and historically, this is the year a lot of greats do that.

I think next year (I’m guessing they make a big splash in free agency) will be the year the Mavs make the next jump. Getting rid of Porzingas and the pick ups they made to compliment Lukas game were fantastic. It was good to see him get past the first round this year though. It does suck they will probably lose Brunson he made himself a ton of money this post season
Milwaukee on life support. Connaughton, Allen, Mathews shooting 1-14 at the moment.
This game is fucking nuts. Phoenix is completely shitting the bed
Phoenix gave up
Got 1 of the 2. Milwaukee was 4/44 from 3??? Impossible to win lol
I wasn't surprised by the first game. Just chalked it up to game seven at home, Celtics roleplayers outplayed the Bucks. But then the second game turned that on it's head.
If Luka beats GSW and Boston, he insantly becomes my 2nd favorite player of all time. Would take the throne from Reggie
Can ESPN stop fucking putting Pat Beverly on air? Who gives a shit what this dick has to say?
Because he talked for like an hour total then all day the rest of their program talked about what he said in another one of their programs. ESPN sucks these days. Besides live sports what is worth watching in ESPN.

Miami and Golden State jump out to 1-0 leads. Warriors had pretty emphatic win last night. We’ll see what adjustments Dallas can make. I could see that series going 7.
Boston played without starters Marcus Smart and Horford, so no surprise they lost. Smart (foot) is probable for tonight, while Horford navigates the never ending stupid health and safety protocols. He’s listed as doubtful for tonight but according to Twitter that may actually be a good thing? Idk, I didn’t spend much time looking into it.
Nah, they need Horford. Theiss had to play 20 minutes last game, which is less than ideal.
I meant like it was good he’s listed as doubtful in regards of being able to play. Some were speculating that meant if he had a negative test today he’d be good to go. Idk if it’s true, like I said I didn’t think much about it or begin to understand the madness that is the health and safety protocols.
