Crazy that there will probably be a 95 win team in the AL that does not make the playoffs.

My guess is at least a 97 win team

I was going to say 97.

The AL is a bloodbath. If the Indians don't make it with 96-97 wins, I'm actually ok with it.

I would be if they hadn’t trotted out:

  • Brad Miller
  • Martin
  • Moroff
  • Stamets
  • Bauers (for WAYYYYY too long)
  • Hanley
  • Insert another generic player

For over a month of the season. They let the Twins get out of reach — in large part — because they trotted a half ass lineup out for over a month. That still doesn’t sit well with me.

Yeah feel sick for Indians fans and players. 93 wins with three to go and they don’t even get the wild card? Crazy how many wins the top of the AL has but the bottom 5 teams are so bad your top teams just padded their records. At least the NL had respectable lesser teams like the Reds and Padres who could compete somewhat

That's true. The AL had Detroit. Wow! Have you seen that line-up? (of glorified minor leaguers and past-their-prime vets).

The video of Bumgarner being sent out to PH vs Kershaw at SF in Bochy’s kast gane was special

Scherzer's throws 2 great pitches to the lead-off hitter, both called low by the usually large zoned ump for a lead-off walk.  Then he got the next pitch up a bit to Grandal and he blasted it in the 80+F temps with 69 dewpoint for a no doubter.  Then Reds killer Thames hits one out in the 2nd to give the Brewers a 3-0 lead after 2 with their bullpen rested with another day of rest tomorrow.  Now a HR by Turner in the 3rd makes it 3-1 after 3.
