You don't need to "figure out the top 4".  You only need to figure out the top team and/or maybe the top 2 teams.  The point is it doesn't take 6-8 teams in a playoff to do that.

According to you of course. And your opinion means jack shit.

Northwestern/Utah game is quite Jekyll and Hyde

NW a 6.5 point dog, and win by 11. Another B1G team wins when they aren’t favored.

Yet A&M wins as a 7 point favorite and everyone wants to jizz on the SEC.

Please never compare a mid level MAC program who HAS to schedule games like ND and KSU to keep its program running to Ohio State.

BG is getting paid a small fortune to play those games. No one pays OSU to play them.

That’s the point, it’s all about money and wins. So Miami Ohio and FAU get huge payouts to get their ass kicked and us fans get a shitty game.

The thing about college football that is so unique compared to other sports is how much a team changes and either improves or declines during the year. I think that’s why it is so difficult to judge who the top four teams should be when you have to reward a whole body of work. That’s what makes college football so special in my opinion and why I’m not for expansion.

Fact remains Ohio State looked amazing at the start, then looked like an unranked team for almost two months barely beating Maryland and Nebraska while getting crushed at Purdue before waking up and lighting the fuck out of Michigan and Notre Dame. Likewise Michigan was highly touted all year, handled most of the Big 10, and was thought of by many as the hands down favorite to win the league. Then they get skullfucked in Columbus and killed in the Peach Bowl.

Thats my problem with saying OSU and Georgia should make it, of course they’re part of the four best teams in the game. But you can’t just throw away that earlier part of the season when they hadn’t figured it out

Apparently was so bad that the game didn’t count in the records or playoff considerations.

Tough luck for the Buckeyes

I don’t think LSU is getting hosed at all. They’re just not very good and UCF was whooping them.

UCF win has to happen to justify 20+ game win streak

They also missed the defensive holding or PI on the DB who got the pick 6 who pushed the receiver away so he could get room to make the interception.

If you're talking LSU, they reviewed it and ejected him.

Orgeron calls a timeout with 3:25 while UCF is punting?

Coaches just can’t grasp the clock
