So the Haden and Harrison situations are the same?

LOL....Haden is 10 years younger, cheap, and still plays meaningful snaps.

Very much so. Harrison (one of the faces of the Steeler franchise for years) and Haden (known by many as "Mr Cleveland") both are let go and sign with their former team's heated/hated rival. I don't see how the situations AREN'T the same..oh, forgot to add AGAIN, both suck and are washed up. It's the EXACT same.

Every one wants to end up on a winner.  Haden.  Harrison.  Charles this weekend begging to get released from the Broncos to sign with a playoff team.   I don't have an issue with Harrison signing with them.  I just have a problem with him being a bitch all season internally.   When he plays in the SB I'll be pulling for him over the NFC team

That's why I really have no animosity toward Haden joining Pittsburgh anymore. Probably one of his better chances to win. Same with Harrison. Sucks when it first happens but after about a week you don't miss them.

As expected BR and Bell won't play against the browns.  Landry jones will get the nod with little help.   I would not be surprised if JuJu doesn't play much either.  Just hate losing to Cleveland!

So 2 weeks off before facing the Jags I presume with that stout defense.

LOL....Landry Jones blows ass but he isn't losing to the Browns, even with a skeleton crew. This team has made guys like Jacoby Brissett look like John Elway. Not happening. Steelers will still win by 10.

I don't think Tom is very happy with the organization these days, I can see him doing his best to feed Gronk the ball as an FU to them.

With Pittsburgh resting starters does that push NE to maybe run more or not run it up?

If Tom wants Gronk to get those numbers....he will. I don’t think he will. Tom may throw enough though to lead league in passing yards

Would Eli Manning play for the Browns?

On one end when former players join rivals they are dead to me (Anderson Varejao also comes to mind).  On the other end I understand once they get released they are FAs and can do whatever the fuck they want.  Joe wouldn't have been dead to  me if he joined the pats.

I hope Pats lose and then Steelers lose and no team ever does this again. Teams with a bye week shouldn’t take week 17 off

Agreed.  Hate when teams do that.  Reason why I turned down free tix this weekend....don't wanna make the trip to see the backups.    Loved it when the Colts did it once and thier offense was way put of sorts.    Coild happen to the steelers.  One thing is how do they use AB with his injury.  He Wil not be effective at all and likely better off not playingunless teams still double him which I doubt

So, Pittsburgh fans are big hypocrites for having the same reaction to players from their teams signing with rivals as Cleveland fans do? Because I'm confused now, since it seems you had the same reaction to Andy going to GSW as I'm having to Harrison going to NE and both seem to be the same situation (past-his-prime guy at the end of his career) while going to a rival that also happens to be a top (if not THE top) contender for a title.

You fail to realize that for Cleveland fans anything that Pittsburgh fans/players/coaches say or do is wrong.   To call cleveland fans hypocrites is making a mockery of the word.

Their jealousy runs deep.

Just get ready for them bragging about taking down the Steelers backups this weekend.

Continued incompetance deranges minds.

i.e. BR still thinks Cleveland is Pittsburgh's heated/hated rival.

For the fans it's still a rivalry. Can't help it the team can't/won't hold up their end of the bargain. Still can't stand your white trash hillbilly asses as much as in the late 80's. With the fact that 80%+ of the fan base is a bunch of bandwagon/frontrunners makes it even more so.

What you don't get is that it's not the Steelers we can't stand...it's their frontrunning bandwagon fans....like Steeler "fans" from NW Ohio.

Triggered again. You live in casinos (shitty ones), yet I'm the white trash hillbilly. LOL

Rivalry games involve hype, excitement, and competitiveness from both sides. This "rivalry" is missing all three.

I think his initial "hypocrisy" reference was because, when Haden joined Pittsburgh, many fans (can't say too many on here) were rejoicing about it. In fact, laughing at the Browns fans because of how Haden would "resurrect" his career. It was fine for "Mr Cleveland" to join their gang but it wasn't ok for Harrison to join NE.

Again, for the fans the hatred still runs deep. That's not going to change anytime soon. Ravens may have taken the franchise but they're still not as hated as Pittsburgh to me. This all comes down to the fan base. Baltimore fans are even as close when it comes to being obnoxious, compared to Pittsburgh.

As far as the casino comment, you actually have to make REAL money to be there. It's called disposable income.

Luckily I'm not from NW Ohio or I would take offense to that!

But I agree....a lot of trashy fans.

One thing i never understood....on the way home from games we would stop someplace and people would say they were huge Steeler fans ad them ask.....who won.

WTF.   I understand maybe not being able to watch a game but any true fan knows the result of the game.....

You spend your free time in shitbum casinos full of denerates and geriatrics, yet constantly whine about what fans of other teams are WEARING. If that's not some wacko delusional shit I don't know what is.

Deep hatred, blah blah, tears and sobs. It doesn't matter. Rivalries are made on the field. I'd actually like to see Cleveland get competitive. The majority of my college buddies are Cleveland fans. Zero mention of Pittsburgh as a "rivalry"....ever.

Agreed.   The hatred runs deep. I hate the browns even tho it's been one sided as of late.   I should hate the Pats but I have grown to respect what they have done over the years.   Usually success breeds hatred towards a team, or in the case of Dallas the media shoving them down your throats
